May Hostesses: Deb, Cynthia, Pat
continued on page 2
Each of us received a handbook when we were installed as Lioness. In our Moses Lake Lioness Club Constitution under Article II, the Purpose of our club. It shall be:A. To take an active
interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community. B. To unite the members in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship, and mutual understanding.C. To encourage women to serve their community. I think we did a great job of all three of these during our Spring Space Burger sale. There are always glitches in any large project, but if we remember why we work as hard as we do, SERVICE, FELLOWSHIP, UNDERSTANDING, we will continue to be the best at what we do. Please remember your installation pledge to give of your time during the Grant County Fair. We need all Lioness, volunteers and paid workers to make the sale of Space Burgers the best at the Fair. The initial signup for fair shifts will be at the May meeting.

Spring Fair Booth Opening
$13, 260Raised!
The Fire Fighter’s Space Burger party was a lot of work, but thanks to Sandy, Mike & Bev Love, Christi, amy, Charlie
and myself it went over really good. We gave them 100 Space
Burgers with the leftovers from Spring Fair and they paid $250 for 100 more. They had a much larger crowd than ex-pected. We should have taken pictures for the scrapbook of those dressed in full uniform, it was very neat. This dinner
was for the Ephrata volunteers and Black Cat Fire Fighters and many of them said they’d give
back by volunteering in the booth at the Grant County Fair.
– Marcella Richard
Thanks to Marcella, Judy, Melisha, Christi, Bev and everyone who helped clean the booth before our Spring Fair opening in april.
Thanks to Pat & Cynthia for cleaning the streets downtown!
Thanks to Michaelle for attending the
Spring Conference.
