DescriptionA lion is a mammal that lives in Africa. Males have big manes, and females don’t . Most males are 3 feet tall and 5 to 7 feet long. They weigh 300 to 500 pounds. Cubs have brown spots called rosettes.

Habitat

Lions live in Africa. They live on grass lands. Grassy plains are called savannas. Territory can be 100 square miles.
