We are glad to announce activities and programs for the month of September 2017:-
1) Veer Narmad and Rashtriya Shayar Zaverchand Meghani Kavya Spardha for school students with cooperation of Democratic Students Organisation this is our yearly program for awakening the national enthusiasm and singing ability of students in Gujarati .

2) Teachers Day Celebration :-In India, 5th
September is celebrated as Teachers' Day as a
mark of tribute to the contribution made by
teachers to the society. 5th September is the birth
anniversary of a great teacher Dr.Sarvepalli
Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of
education, and was a well-known diplomat,
scholar, the President of India and above all, a
teacher. When some of his students and friends
approached him and requested him to allow them
to celebrate his birthday, he said, "instead of
celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my
proud privilege, if 5th September is observed as
Teachers' day".
thDate 5 September 2017 ,Tuesday we have eminent speakers Dr. Jagdish Patel a welknown senior surgeon who is an author of many books his topic is I AM STUDENT our Past President Lion Prabhudas Patel will also talk on education which please note Time 8.30 pm talk span is 45 minutes followed by interactions and fellowship dinner venue is Lions Hall ,please register your name guests are free and if they have dinner charges will be Rs.175 which please note .
th3) 7 September 2017 district is celebrating Teachers day and have invited all club members charges are Rs. 220 please pay and register your name immediately with club
ndoffice before 2 September 2017 with club office program is at C.C.MEHTA AUDITORIUM time will be 7 pm onwards speakers are Gujarat Minister Shree Rajendra Trivedi ,Vice Chancellor Shree Parimal Vyas ,they will also felicitate teachers on same day.
th4) 10 September 2017 Sunday time 7 pm to 9 pm we have arranged for Musical evening
with welknown singers of Vadodara who will present excellent gujarati ,hindi songs ghazals etc. fellowship dinner is arranged ,guests are welcome music program is free if they have dinner charges will be Rs.175 per head which please note please register your presence with club office

2) Bhadarva village is adapted by our club and we will attempt to make it a SMART VILLAGE we will donate sewing machines .medicines and have children rally by school children on avoidance of
ndtobacco and other vices Date is 2 October 2017 club will arrange for transportation etc. time will be announced shortly we are tying up with the Village Panchayat ,government agencies Local MLA Shree Ketan Inamdar and many other agencies of the village this is as decided by the board of directors , followed by visit of club members ,Lion S.N.Waghela, VDG2 Lion Mahesh Shah,LionDr. Ashwin Shah and Lion Gaurang Pandya .

th3) 8 October 2017 our medical committee is planning for diabetes check up and
awareness in collaboration with many NGOS and VMC at Akota Stadium please await details please participate in this herculean task .

th2) Date 8 August 2017 we had a very successful talk on KNOW YOUR KNEE
HEALTHY LIFE WITH HEALTH JOINTS speakers were our own Lion Dr. Sanjay
Natu and Dr. Kalpit Patel with lots of interactions and members went home happy as
they were relieved all their querries on this very important subject Our club also
donated Rs.11000 to sewabharati for flood rehabilitation program in Gujarat accepted
by our Zone Chairman Lion Dr.kamal shah
th3) We celebrated our Independence day 15 August with pomp and lots of enthusiasm
at Baroda High Schools and The Baroda Association For The Blind our president
addressed the school children and club members at both venue it was attended by
club members in large nos.

4) We had a very successful movie show TOILET EK PREMKATHA to showcase members needs for toilet at Inox and was a huge success and movie was hilarious date

5) Club emblem was unveiled at 2 toilet blocks which were visited by our club members accompanied by District Governor Lion Parimalpatel ,MJF VDG2 Lion Mahesh Shah and team the governor was very much impressed by our activity in most remote residential schools of adivasis at Fangia and Chalvad it was picturesque visit to the hills of devgadhbaria and jungles of Jambughoda ,Lion Dhiru Mistry had taken
thinitiative for this blocks this is our 5 toilet project.
Club members even donated cash for the Adivasi inmates of this kanyashalas congrats to all.

thDistrict had invited club office bearers and District Chairmen for District Seminar on 27
August 2017 and it was a very successful program and it was stressed that we require quality
