Where do I start?

• Completed Application package submitted to LCLB

• Assignment of Case Manager - Review process

• IF Lounge/SEA applied for wait for local government review and resolution

• LCLB notifies LDB which initiates their process

• Approval in Principle stage

• If resolution received Approval in Principle sent out / or Site and Community stage

for lounge/SEA Set up final inspection

• Local Inspector inspection / any issues sent back to Case Manager

• licencing fee paid

• Final approval and licensed issued

Control and Licensing Branch (LCLB)

• Questions toll-free at 1-866-209-2111.

• Process takes an estimated 4-6 months. An incomplete application will delay processing time.

• Endorsements - lounge and/or special event area , picnic endorsement

• Manufacturer Terms and Conditions handbook.

• Note: Some of the information you submit to LCLB in your application package will be

provided to the Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB). LDB will use this information to classify your

business (Land-Based Winery, Commercial Winery, Brewery, Brewpub, Craft Distillery,

Commercial Distillery),
