To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Sherry Yates. My company is Yates Yachts and I have been
arranging private crewed yacht charters in the Caribbean for over 15 years.
I am writing to unconditionally recommend Chef Lisa Mead whom I have known
since I first started in this business. Lisa is an accomplished Chef and a consummate
professional. Every charter I’ve placed on yachts where Lisa was on board received the
highest praise.
Lisa recently completed a very difficult charter for me. During the day, my client
(who already had 10 guests sleeping on board) would invite business colleagues for
daysails. Lisa prepared 15 lunches and 15 dinners in a galley meant to serve 10 guests
maximum. My clients were quite demanding, yet Lisa thrilled them with her culinary skills. Lisa is the reason they said they would book the yacht again.
Lisa is not just stellar Chef. Her personality is warm, cheerful, and gracious. Her
answer to every challenge is “can do!”
I watched Lisa entertain Charter Brokers every evening during the busy Antigua
Yacht Show this past December. She invited everyone for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
This, after a full day of being interviewed by Brokers and giving guided tours of the
yacht! Her welcoming smile and the offer of a comfortable seat, a cool drink and a
delicious morsel was every Broker’s welcome respite from a hot day in the marina.
I know my colleagues will agree with me…any charter with Lisa Mead on board
will be a successful one. She’s committed to making it so.
You are welcome to contact me if you need further endorsement.
Sincerely,
Sherry YatesCharter Broker
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Lisa mead has been our freelance chef on board SY Stormbird(62’ Hallberg Rassey sloop) over the past two seasons.
Lisa is an exceptional chef and has always proved so popular with our guests both on a culinary level and socially. Her choice of menus are always exactly to our guests preferences and operates in a true professional manner. Lisa is a pleasure to have on board as crew and fully understands the working role of a charter yacht. She is extremely hard working, methodical and always available as a willing extra pair of hands on deck.
Without doubt lisa is our most succesfull chef and we are now fi nding repeat clients are requesting lisa to be part of our team.
I would highly recommend lisa and would be more than happy to provide further references or to speak with you personally.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance.
