Salvaged airplane parts, reworked parts obtained from sources not approved by the Beechcraft Corporation or parts, components or structural assemblies, the service history of which is unknown or cannot be authenticated, may have been subjected to unacceptable stresses or temperatures or have other hidden damage not discernible through routine visual or usual nondestructive testing techniques. This may render the part, component or structural assembly, even though originally manufactured by the Beechcraft Corporation, unsuitable and unsafe for airplane use.
Beechcraft Corporation expressly disclaims any responsibility for malfunctions, failures, damage or injury caused by use of parts not approved by the Beechcraft Corporation.
B. Correspondence
If a question should arise concerning the care of your airplane, it is important to include the airplaneserial number in any correspondence. The serial number appears on the model designation placard.Refer to Chapter 11 for placard location.
C. Publications Change Request (PCR)
If an irregularity or missing information is noted, the user of this manual may access a PCR form at http://pubs.beechcraft.com. Instructions on how to submit a PCR are included on the web page.
D. Variation Numbers
Some parts on the airplane may be identified with -6xx, -7xx, -6xxx, -7xxx, -6 U, -006 U, -0006 U partnumber suffixes. These suffixes (dash numbers) are used when a part has been produced to aconfiguration different than to the Engineering. Examples of these differences can include but are not

limited to an additional trim allowance, holes undrilled, and assemblies without all the attaching parts orwith additional parts. These dash numbers may not necessarily be in the Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC)therefore, when ordering parts, it is important to quote the part number as found in the IPC.
2. MANUAL LAYOUT
A. Front Matter
(1) Title Page
A Title page is located at the beginning of the manual and provides the part number of the manual, and lists all airplane models pertaining to this manual and their respective serial numbers.Information throughout this manual is applicable to all serial numbers listed on the title pageexcept where specifically stated.
(2) Record of Revisions
A Record of Revisions page is provided for the purpose of recording revisions inserted into thisIPC. When the revision is inserted, the revision number, the date the revision is inserted and theinitials of the person(s) inserting the revision should be recorded on this page.
IML CD and Online Parts Catalogs do not include a Record of Revisions page. Revision standardis available by a link to the catalog Title Page or accessible by clicking Help on the menu bar andselecting ‘About This IML Book...’.
(3) Introduction
This section contains general and specific information on the contents of this catalog. Also, it hasspecific explanations of the BC part-numbering system and instructions on how to use this catalog.
(4) Numerical Index
The Numerical Index is a complete alphabetical and numerical (alpha/numeric) listing of all partnumbers contained in the Parts List of this IPC. The index is divided into two sections, “NumericalIndex-Alpha” and “Numerical Index-Numeric.” The first section contains part numbers whose firstdigit is an alpha character and the second section contains part numbers whose first digit is anumeric character. Entries in these indexes refer to the Chapter, Section, Unit, Figure and ItemNumber (CSUFI) in the Parts List.
Common hardware items having more than ten locations, are listed in the Numerical Index withoutlocations and with a total quantity representing all locations unless the total quantity is greater than999, where “AR” is listed.
IML CD and Online versions of the IPC do not have the alpha/numeric list incorporated. The IMLCD and Online viewer software incorporates a search feature that will permit searches using eitherthe part number or part description. The ‘Searching an IML Parts Catalog’ section details thesearch feature.
(5) Effective Pages and Table of Contents
The Effective Pages following each chapter divider tab lists a summary of allChapter-Section-Unit-Figure and Page numbers, with the current effective date for all pagesapplicable to that chapter. An asterisk (*) preceding the entry indicates that the page has beenadded or revised by the current revision.
BARON B55, E55, 58 & G58 ILLUSTRATED PARTS CATALOG
Page 4JUL 01/17 INTRODUCTION
The Chapter Table of Contents following the Effective Pages is sequentially arranged inChapter-Section-Unit and Figure number order. The airplane effectivity is also listed.
B. Organization
This IPC is organized in accordance with the Air Transport Association (ATA) Specification No. 2200format. The contents are organized into five levels as follows:
(1) Chapter - Identified by yellow divider tabs. The various groups are broken down into majorsystems such as Environmental Systems, Electrical Power, Landing Gear, etc. Each system isassigned a chapter, which becomes the first element of the standard numbering system. Theelement "28" in chapter 28-40-10-01 refers to the chapter “Fuel.” Everything concerning the fuelsystem will be covered in this chapter.
(2) Section - The major systems of an airplane are broken down into subsections, and areidentified by the second element of the standard numbering system. The element “40” of28-40-10-01 identifies the “Indicating” portion of the fuel system.
(3) Unit - The individual units within a subsystem/section may be identified by the third element ofthe standard numbering system. The element “10” of the number 28-40-10-01 is a subjectdesignator. This element is assigned at the option of the manufacturer and will not necessarilyagree with any other manual.
(4) Figure - Figures are the final definition of the breakdown system. The element “01” of28-40-10-01 represents the figure of the parts list. Some installations or assemblies may be goodonly for certain airplane serials. These figure locations break up the installations or assemblies sothey can be listed for just the airplane serials they effect.
(5) Item - The items are the numeric value in the Fig. Item column on the text page assigned tothe part number. This number corresponds to the number in the Illustration. If however, the itemnumber has a dash (-) preceding it, that part is a non-illustrated item in the list. Example: 110would be illustrated and -110 would not.
3. DETAILED PARTS LIST
The Parts List consists of installations broken down into assemblies, sub-assemblies, detail parts andattaching parts.
A. Column Breakdown
(1) Figure and Item No. Column
This column contains the figure number, of the illustration that shows the parts and the itemnumbers that locate the parts on the illustration. Parts not illustrated will carry a (-) before the itemnumber.
(2) Part Number Column
This column contains the part number assigned to each part.
(a) Long Part Number (Overlength Part Number)
When a part number exceeds 17 characters, the part number column will have either areference/coded part number (RACREF) or ‘+#’ at the end of 17 characters and the completemanufacturer’s part number will then be shown in the nomenclature column. That is the partnumber to use when requisitioning replacement parts. Refer to Figure 1, item 7.

(b) Dash Numbers
A part number (i.e., -1) in the Illustrated Part Catalog may appear, when ordering a partthrough Hawker Beechcraft Parts & Distribution (HBP&D), as a -1, -01, -001 or -0001. Thesedash numbers are considered equivalent and identifiers of the same part.
(3) Nomenclature Column
NOTE: IML CD and Online Catalogs use Description instead of Nomenclature as the Nomenclature Column header.
(a) Indenture
For proper identification of details of assemblies, the listings employ the indention system. Each installation or assembly is broken down to the next indentation to the right. Conversely, the next higher indentation for an installation or assembly for any detail is listed above it.
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Installation
. Detail parts for installation
. Assembly
. Attaching parts for assembly -------*-------
. . Detail parts for assembly
. . Sub-Assembly
. . Attaching parts for sub-assembly -------*-------
. . . Detail parts for sub-assembly
(b) Left and Right Handed Parts
If two assemblies are made up of a majority of identical parts, or the assemblies areopposite, (i.e., left and right hand), the assemblies are listed together with their detail partslisted as common for both assemblies. In this case only the left or right hand part, but notboth, is illustrated, with the difference between left and right hand parts noted in thedescription column.
(c) Attaching Parts
Attaching parts are listed immediately after the assembly or detail part they attach. Anopening separation symbol, ATTACHING PARTS, followed by a closing separation symbol,-------*-------, distinguishes the listing of attaching parts from a subsequent listing of parts withthe same indention. Refer to Figure 1, items 1 through 4.

Page 6JUL 01/17 INTRODUCTION
(d) Nomenclature Qualifiers
The following qualifiers are used in the nomenclature column:
1 Alternate - Identifies the part number of an interchangeable part.
2 Spare - A preferred replacement part.
3 True Part Number - Indentifies the part number listed in the correct format to be usedfor ordering the part. Refer to Figure 2.
4 Pre - Indentifies those parts that were used prior to the incorporation of a kit or servicebulletin.
5 Rotable Item - Identifies to the user that the part is a candidate for procurement aseither, overhauled, repaired or new.
(4) Effectivity Column
If the Usable On Code column lists an alpha then that will indicate the effectivity. Refer to the endof the parts list of that particular figure to determine the effectivity of the alpha. Each figure has itsown distinct coding, i.e., the code number denoting airplane serial effectivity for one figure may notbe the same as it is for another. The range consists of 10 digits showing a five digit serial numberwhere the effectivity starts and a five digit serial number where the effectivity ends. If no alpha islisted in the column, then the effectivity for the figure (and all its items) will be for all airplanes. Thefollowing table shows an example of the range representation:
(5) Units Per Assembly Column
This column lists the quantity of the units required for the next higher assembly of the part. Thequantity of attaching parts is the quantity required to attach one unit (piece) of the part they attach. The notation “RF” in the “Units Per Assy” column indicates that the part number is “Reference”only. The notation “AR” indicates that part is “As Required” and indicates the parts vary in thenumber required to properly build the assembly.

4. HOW TO USE THIS CATALOG
A. Graphic Examples
Figure 1 is an example that shows the indenture system used to indicate parts included in any givenassembly. These part numbers are only examples. By this indenture system, parts shown in column 2are component parts of the immediately preceding assembly in column 1. Parts shown in column 3 arecomponent parts of the immediately preceding assembly in column 2, etc., through column 7. As anexample, if the 390-524092-3 PUSH ROD ASSEMBLY is ordered, it would include items 5 through 13.Note that items 1 through 4, bolts, washers and nuts (the attaching parts) are not a part of the PUSHROD ASSEMBLY.
There may be instances when a part number consists of more than 17 characters. In that case thecomplete number will appear in the nomenclature (refer to item 7). The examples in Figures 2 and 3show how to locate a part when the part number is known and how to locate a part number when thedescription is known.

5. FILTERING AN IML PARTS CATALOG
