EXPERT LECTURERS
ALITI, Besim Besim Aliti was a lead project manager at the European University Games 2016 in Zagreb/Rijeka, Croatia. He managed the operational planning for all competitions and training venues, lead the team of staff, held the position of Director of Games Operations, managed the organisation team, coordinated activities of all operational functional areas, lead the venue transitions planning and field of play installation planning, lead the planning of the games operation center and delivered documentation such as games master plan, etc. As a Deputy Competitions Manager at the Eurobasket 2015 in Zagreb, Croatia he successful delivered two test events, managed, coordinated and monitored all field of play operations, managed and coordinated volunteers, participating national teams and referees, managed relationships with other functional areas of the organisation, and managed the relationship with FIBA. As a Venue Operations Manager at the European Games 2015 in Baku, Azerbaijan he lead the operational planning for all venues at the Crystal Hall, he was responsible for managing and leading the venue team, etc.
BALENT, Boris Boris Balent is in charge of the leadership training programme which aims to strengthen participants’ leadership competencies, such as the ability to effectively manage and guide group efforts, the ability to influence actions and opinions of other, the ability to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency, and a number of other leadership competencies, e.g. assertiveness, change leadership, flexibility, vision and strategic thinking, decision making, analytical thinking, forward thinking, ethics and integrity, personal credibility, influencing other, etc. Boris Balent is the founder and president of the Croatian Association of Sport Psychologist with the professional background in sport psychology and human resources management. He is also the lecturer at the University of Zagreb. He is the co-author of the manual Introduction to the Psychology of Sport.

BELOVARI, Tomislav Tomislav Belovari is a certified trainer in career and management – management and leadership development, didactic and pedagogical issues related to development and delivery of training – as well as a certified trainer for the EU Project Cycle Management. He has a vast experience and skills as a trainer, lecturer, moderator on different EU topics, and a high understanding of normal personality differences including self-understanding and development, career development and exploration, organisation development, team building, management and leadership training, problem solving, education and curriculum development, academic counselling, training in diversity and multicultural awareness. He has successfully completed the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator programme and holds a MBTI certificate.
ČUSTONJA, Zrinko Zrinko Čustonja is a professor at the University of Zagreb. He is a scientific researcher and author of a number of books and articles (more than 70 published scientific articles) and co-author of books and articles. He worked on the development of the Sport Act which regulates the system of sports in Croatia. He was a co-author of guidelines for the development of sports in Croatia. He is an author and co-author of a number of different strategic documents in the field of sport on a national level. He is a member of the Executive Board of the International Society for the History of Physical Education and Sport (ISHPES) since 2009. He is also a member of the Croatian Society of Sport History since 2010. In 2014, he received an award of the European Committee for Sport History for his scientific work as a young researcher at the 9th International Congress in Crotone, Italy. He is the president of the Croatian Academic Sports Federation which organised the European University Games in Zagreb/Rijeka, Croatia in 2016.

HALAR, Dražana Dražana Halar is an international expert on entrepreneurship, investment and funding who possesses the skills necessary to transfer own practical knowledge to others. She is well experienced in the field of strategic planning and project cycle management. She held a number of teaching positions as a trainer and lecturer on different topics related to investments and funding in Croatia and Europe. She coordinated and lead different educational programmes on strategic management and project management. She has a vast practical knowledge and experience in developing strategies, building partnerships, managing public relations, and developing and implementing regional projects. She worked on a range of different project that were focused on strategy development, regional development and partnership development, as well as business education and training, clusters and EU Funding, wood industry and tourism strategy.
MUSSO, Denis Denis Musso has a background in physical education, political sciences and he specialized in sport management and sport law. From 1991 until 2013 he was a professor in INSEP Paris, the main elite sport centre in France where he was responsible for the Department of Management, Economics and Law. He has a long experience in training and counselling of athletes, as well as in research in the area of sport at local and international level. He has specialized in elite and professional sport policy for many years. He is a member of the legal and disciplinary commission of the French Basketball League, and has also played a role in the professional football coaches training. He has published widely articles, reports and contributions to books, especially on the status of the athlete and professional sport. At the international level he has been a member of the MEMOS team from the first MEMOS programme as tutor and later as module leader for the Human Resources Management module of the MEMOS programme in French. From 1998 until 2007 he was Board Member of the European Association for Sport Management. He has also participated as researcher or as expert in a range of studies commissioned at the European level.

NAKIĆ BILIĆ, Danira Danira Nakić Bilić is a former Croatian basketball player. As part of the Yugoslavian women's team, she won a silver medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. She was the European basketball Most Valuable Player three times running in 1988, 1989 and 1990. In 1991, she was awarded Croatia's highest national recognition for sports, the Franjo Bučar State Award for Sport. Since retiring from active sport, she maintained an active involvement in sport and is currently a manager in the Croatian Olympic Academy and a Director of the Croatian Heritage Foundation. In 2009, the International Olympic Committee awarded her their "Women in Sports" European trophy. She was a member of the organising committee of the European University Games Zagreb/Rijeka, Croatia in 2016.
NEPI MOLINERIS, Diego Diego Nepi Molineris is the Marketing and Development Director of the Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano (CONI). Since 2005 he has held the position of Director of Sports Facilities and of Parco Foro Italico of CONI Servizi, the company which is owned by the Ministry of Finance. Following the joint venture between the Italian Sport Federations and CONI Servizi, he has been holding the following positions: Operating Director of Internazionali BNL d’Italia; General Director of the Executive Committee of the Golden Gala Diamond League Athletics Rome event; General Director of the Tournament 6 Nations Rugby for the Italian events; Director of the International Swimming Meeting 7 Colli. He holds teaching positions in the following educational programmes: Master in Olympic Management at the CONI's School of Sport; Sports Management Course at the Creative Master Luiss Business Center; Law and Sport Management at the Link Campus University MBA.

TOGNON, Jacopo Jacopo Tognon is the attorney at law – specialised on sport law at both national and European level – with more than 15 years of experience. He was admitted before the High Supreme Courts in Italy as of 2012. He was appointed as arbitrator and chairman in more than 50 cases at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. He is the president of the Federal Appeal Court of National Cycling Federation and of the Panel of the labour disputes between clubs and football players, league B. He is a lecturer with 10 years of experience at the University of Padova, University of Venice and at the link Campus University of Rome. He has published more than 25 publications as separate volume, journal papers and papers. He was a speaker in more than 150 conferences and/or courses on sport related topics at both national and international level.
TRULLI, Umberto Umberto Trulli is a senior management consultant with expertise in different fields, such as strategic decision making, execution, review and improvement, performance management, organisational growth strategies, cross cultural negotiation, etc. He is a certified quality management system lead auditor with specific expertise in design, implementation, audit and improvements in different industries including the sport industry, and an international trainer and lecturer on strategic management, management of integration systems, process optimisation, multicultural negotiations, e-business, self-awareness, personal development, leadership, etc.

VAN BAELEN, Matthias Matthias Van Baelen is deputy director at the European Olympic Committees EU Office. He is going to present good governance tools that were developed during the implementation of another European project Support the Implementation of Good Governance in Sport – the collaborative partnership supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The main objective of the project is to promote and support good governance in sport by providing practical guidance to National Olympic Committees and National Federations on how to implement principles of good governance in order to enhance governance of their organisations.
VASILIAUSKAS, Vitalijus Vitalijus Vasiliauskas is a director at the Lithuanian Olympic Fund of the Lithuanian National Olympic Committee. He is responsible for the sponsorship, fund raising, marketing initiatives, licensing and franchising, event promotion and organising, PR activities, broadcasting rights. He runs company’s day-by-day operations, prepare budgets, and execute international partnerships with other National Olympic Committees, local sports organizations and governing bodies. He is an experienced executive manager capable to run multicultural, multilingual and international businesses. He has a high level of organisational and management skills to combine diverse international businesses deliver projects on time and on targets, implement various management techniques to achieve set goals. He is always looking for innovative and creative attitude to the solution of problems, efficient operations, sustainable development, and acting in social-responsible manner. He is a strategic thinker and planner, commercially minded, loyal to a company’s vision and mission. He is able to lead, encourage and motivate people and teams to achieve and exceed the results.
