The water body appeared at S.No 1(a) of the petition, named as water body at Hauz Khas. This water body falls inside the Distt. Park, Hauz Khas(Africa Avenue Road side) and is a part of khasra no. 150 – 158.

The total area of the water body is 60,000 sq. mts and named as Hauz Khas Lake.Now the water body is filled with treated sewage water and is being maintained properly by the civil wing.

The water body appeared at S.No. 9(a) of the petition, named as water body at Masood Pur. This water body falls inside the Vasant Kunj (Near sector B-10) and adjoining G.D.Goenka Public School and is a part of khasra no. 205/1.

The total area of water body is 14848 sq. mts. and now it is completely filled with earth/malba and is developed as a park. The tentative plan has been issued by Director(Landscape). The plan is yet to be approved by screening committee.

The water body is at S.No 14(a) of the petition named as water body at Mehrauli (Baba Adrang Nath) and is situated on Aruna Asaf Ali Road adjoining Lt. Col. Ranjan Hospital.The water body is in khasra no. 2741\ 2036\ 1675 (New 1220) and is dry and has been partly filled up with malba.

The water body is appeared at S.No 6 of the petition named as water body at Dhaula Kuan and fall inside the park situated at the corner of Outer Ring Road and N.H. 8. The water body is a part of khasra no 562\181(min) and the total area is about 15000 sq mts (approx).

This water body is wet and was earlier used as a lake. The water body is development and is being maintained by horticulture Div.IV/DDA. There is no separate source of water to fill this water body. However the rain water collected during rainy season is the only source to fill the lake.

The water body appeared at S.No. 20 of the petition named as water body at Munirka. This water body falls inside the Sports Complex Munirka and is a part of Khasra No. 823 and 705. The total area of the water body is 4415 sq. mts. Previously the discharge of surrounding area of Munirka village used to flow into the pond.

However after the development of drainage system no water flows into the pond. Finally area surrounding this water body has been developed as Sports Complex. During rainy season it acts as water harvesting point.
