As Prince withheld his permission to allow hisworks to be reproduced within the catalogue the book is devoid of illustrations. Rather diagrammatic, scaled, boxes stand in for theworks presented in the show and discussed within Lobel's text. Nevertheless, the book contains a necessary pre-history of Prince,fully documented with extensive footnotes, bibliography and exhibition checklist.
