Gogos

Written  By:  Patrick

On   the   Dirst   day   back  from   winter   break   we   were  leaving   school   and   Cole   was  talking   about   Gogos.   I   asked  what  are  Gogos  ,  he  said  they  are   little   plastic   Digures.   They  sell   them   at   the   Village   Toy  Shop   and   they   come   3   in   a  packet.  My  favorite  one   looks  like   a   Lego   guy.   He   comes   in  orange,   green,   blue,   purple,  sparkles,  shiny  gold,  and  red.  I  build   big   castles   and   put  Gogos   on   the   castles   and  battle   them.   Sometimes   my  friends  and  I  break  the  castles  with   the   bad  guy  Gogos.   Then  we  build   castles   back   up.   We  also   build   towers,   bases,   and  safe   zones.  My  mom  and   dad  say   we   have   to   take   them  down   because   they   are   a  mess.   But   my   friends   and   I  really   don’t   think   so.   For  example,   once   after   Cole,   my  best  friend,  left  my  house,  my  mom   said   to   clean   my   mess  up  But  Mom!  I  said,  I  told  Cole  we  could  work  on  it  next  time  he   came   over,   so   my   mom  said   we   could   keep   it  up   but  only  this  one  time.  I  really  like  Gobos.

The Rand

I  lost  my  rand  in  the  sand

So  the  land  is  the  sand

I  found  my  rand  in  the  sand  with  my  hand

My Guinea PigI am getting a new

Guinea pig from my friend Adam. Her name is Lucy. I have not yet seen her. Adam’s mom said the cage is really big so it will need a lot of room. I can’t wait to get Lucy.

I have seen Lucy. She loves lettuce. The computer said that guinea pigs need a lot of attention. She looks like a little skunk. Lucy likes to hide. She has three hiding places, a wooden house, a purple plastic house, and a basket with hay in it. Every morning and night, we hold Lucy to make her feel safe and give her lettuce. She

eats little pellets of grain. We also give her special treats of Slims. Her cage is in my basement and her water bottle hangs off the side of the cage. Her food bowl is purple with little pictures of guinea pigs on it. She sometimes comes out of her house if you call her name. As for her bedding, we use little pieces of cardboard and sometimes hay. The noises she makes are purring sounds and high-pitched squeals. I love Lucy but at times her squeals can be annoying. She is fun to play with and have around.
