We will be learning using both praccal and wrien methods. Measurement– me and volume: In this unit children will be learning how to tell the me accurately using both analogue and digital clocks. Children will also be using a variety of resource's to learn how to measure volume in litres and milliliters Science Biology: Plants– changes over me Children will reflect back on their learning of Plants in Autumn 2. They will observe and describe how seeds and bulbs grow into mature plants and think about how the different parts of the plant help this to happen. Children will consider how they can help the seeds and bulbs grown into healthy plants. They will also compare healthy plants and think about whether they need anything different to survive. They will learn to idenfy different plants and discuss their simple features. Children will learn how to ask quesons and how to record and gather infor- maon to answer these quesons. (Please see Science knowledge organiser for essenal knowledge and vocabulary to be learnt.) Geogrpahy Focus: The World Children will be exploring different parts of the globe and begin with un- derstanding how to use atlas’ , globes and maps. They will observe and describe how seeds and bulbs grow into mature plants and think about how the different parts of the plant help this to happen. Children will consider how they can help the seeds and bulbs grown into healthy plants. They will also compare healthy plants and think about whether they need anything different to survive. Working Scientifically: Children will learn to observe plants closely and make descriptive observations about what they can see. They will learn to identify different plants and discuss their simple features. Children will learn how to ask questions and how to record and gather infor-mation to answer these questions.
