3Step 2 Mark it up!

Underline things, highlight things put pause marks (//) in for emphasis. Giving yourself a visual cue to stop or slow down is very important.

Step 3 PracticeRead through this to yourself a few times and then read it out loud to someone else, just for practice. Take their feedback, practice one more time and then ask Ms. Hanson or Ms. Bos when you can give your speech to the class.
