Finding a journal article

1. Go to Library Search (via http://www.uel.ac.uk/lls).
2. In ‘Books & more’ search box, enter journal title: Educational Psychologist.
3. From your results list, click ‘View It’ to see your access options. Select
one to load the journal.
4. From the journal’s website, navigate to the relevant volume and issue.

Search for your topic in a journal database, such as
EBSCO PsycINFO:
1. Library website (http://www.uel.ac.uk/library).
2. Click on ‘Databases & e-Journals’.
3. Select ‘E’ for EBSCO PsycINFO.
4. Choose ‘on campus’ or ‘off campus’.
5. Select PsycINFO, then start searching!

The School of Psychology uses APA style, most other schools use Harvard (Cite Them Right version). If unsure, check with your lecturer.
