once upon a time a little girl lived in a country village. She was the sweetest creature that ever was seen.

She always wore a red-coloured hood, so that every one called her Little Red Riding Hood.

One day her mother said to her:

“Go, my child visit your gradmother and carry her this nice cake”.

Little Red Riding Hood immediately set out, with a basket filled with the cake.

As she was crossing the wood she met a wolf who asked her: “Hello! Where are you going?”.

The little girl replied: “I am going to see my grandmother. She lives in a house behind those trees”.

“Well “said the Wolf “I will go and see her too”.

The Wolf set out, running as fast as he could, while the little girl amused her gathering some flowers she found in her path.

The wolf soon arrived at Grandmother’s and knocked at the door.

“Who is there? Said the old woman.

“It’s me, Little Red Rinding Hood” replied the Wolf, softening his voice.

“Pull the latch and the door will open” said the old woman.

The Wold entered the house, ate Granny up and run into Granny’s bed.

A little later, Little Red Riding Hood reached the house and came into the room. She looked at the Wolf.

“Granny, What big eyes you have!”

“All the better to see you with!” said the Wolf.

“What big ears you have!”“All the better to hear you

with!” said the Wolf.“What big teeth you have!”“All the better to eat you

with!” shouted the Wolf”.

A hunter who was in the wood heard a loud scream and ran to the house.

The hunter killed the Wolf and took Little Red Riding Hood back to her house.

The hunter and Little Red Riding Hood ‘s mother got married and they lived happy for ever.
