Little Word Practice...(...because you CAN do a LOT with little words)
How it works:1. Each slide will have a sentence in English. 2. There will be a word bank on each slide to help you write each sentence in French. (You may or may not need to use all of the words in the word bank.)3. Each correct word in a sentence is worth 1 point. Keep track of your points beside each number.

Quelquefois, je pense que je ne suis pas heureux parce que j'ai beaucoup d'amis . Mais je dis toujours, il y a beaucoup de gens ici et je ne peux pas trouver des nouveaux amis . Je n'ai pas besoin beaucoup d'amis, j'ai juste besoin d'un meilleur ami . Je suis une bonne personne . Je dis toujours à mes amis "bonjour, au revoir, s'il vous plaît, et rien merci". Je pense que j'ai besoin d'aide.

Ah Zut!: High Frequency Word Game
Objective
Through this game, students will learn to recognize and read high frequency Spanish words.
Materials
coffee cans wrapped in paper (to make them look pretty)high frequency words written out on cards for each coffee can3 cards per can with the words ¡Ay Caramba! written on them
Method
In pairs students take turns drawing out the high frequency word cards from the can, say the word in French, then give the English translation.
If they can translate the word they get to keep the card. If they can't the partner tries reading and translating it. If the partner reads it correctly he/she gets to keep the card.
If neither student can translate the word, it goes in a "don't know it yet" pile.
When an Ah Zut! card is pulled out of the can the student who drew it has to return all their cards into the can. The Ah Zut! card is placed in a separate pile. The game is played until all the cards are drawn, and the student with the most cards, wins.
