I agree to my Son/Daughters participation in the Crew/Live Sound Course and know of no medical reason why they should not participate. I understand that participants are selected on merit and not on a first-come, first-served basis.

I enclose the full fee of 60.00 (cheques payable to Youth Arts Jersey) I understand that if my son/daughters application is unsuccessful this money will be returned to me in full. I understand that the fee is not refundable should I withdraw my son/daughter.

WHAT IS THE CREW & LIVE SOUND COURSE?

This basic course delivered by SFL (Sound Foundation Ltd) enables participants to identify the components of our live stage sound system, assist with the rigging of the system and help manage events on stage.This course covers:-

health & safety requirements

manual handling

stage management

technical choices

backline identification and management

cabling, microphones, PA system components

Microphones

Mixing Desks

Cables

Personal and personnel management

Those successfully completing Crew and Live Course will be qualified to join the Youth Arts Jersey Crew, providing stage services to Youth Arts Jersey clients as and when opportunities arise.COURSE DATES
