French cinema is represented by The Odyssey, the biopic based on the life of Jacques Cousteau starring Lambert Wilson and Amelie’s Audrey Tautou, Insyriated, the tense drama set in Syria, and Malgré la Nuit, the dark surreal thriller from director Philippe Grandrieux. There are two exceptional Irish productions Moon Dogs (a coming-of-age road movie) and It’s Not Yet Dark (the moving documentary about a filmmaker who lives with Motor Neuron Disease). There are also films from Morocco (Mimosas), Hungary (On Body and Soul) and Palestine (In Between). We also have several special event screenings with Mojo presented by Aidan Gillen, The Possibilities Are Endless introduced by Cillian Murphy, the return of VIVA VHS! on Culture Night and John Carpenter’s Halloween to be shown on halloween night.
