ATTENDANCE
• The CBSE requirement of Attendance is 75%
• One Day absence – note in the
School Calendar.
• Absence of more than one day -Leave
Application/Medical Certificate .
• Attendance during Republic day
and Independence day celebrations
is mandatory for all students.
• Students are awarded for 100% attendance.
PATH TO SUCCESS
School has introduced an award system for
the students.
They are oriented about these award
categories at the start of the academic year
and are motivated to achieve them.

ACADEMICS

THINKLABS
• Experiments and activities are carried out as a
part of science syllabus.
THOTS
• Is an outsource program taken by INS.
• This program is to enhance the higher order
thinking skills in students.
• It helps in cognitive, emotional and social
development of individuals.
• In this period various thoughtful games are
conducted and worksheets are solved.
ACTIVITIES 1. CCA - Individual and house wise competitions are
held.

LIBRARY
• Books will be issued to the students during the
library class.
• Books can be taken home and returned after a
week.
BOOKS • Students are requested to carry the books as per
the time table given.
• The total number of books to be carried is
13 + 1 Rough book + School diary. English – 2

• Text books are uploaded on the Edurite
boards.
ERP
• Fedena – You can access Assignments, Exam
dates, Mails, Circulars etc. through ERP.
• Students have been given their Fedena User ID
and password.
• INS Facebook page is updated regularly with the
activities and events happening at school.
• You are invited to join the INS Facebook page
by sending a friend request to “INDIRA INS”.
• All school events are updated on face book.
EXAMINATION SYSTEM
• CCE pattern - 4 FAs 50+50+50+50

• 2 SAs 90+90

• FA1 & FA3 – 10 Marks each 7 tasks will be conducted in every subject and best 5 will
be chosen. (Tasks will be in the form of activities, projects, MCQs, work sheets, orals,
home work etc).
• FA2 & FA4 – Are 50 Marks paper pen test.
• SA1 & SA2 – Are Term end exams of 90 Marks
• ( written paper )
• Examination schedules are given in the school calendar .
• No re-scheduling of exams.
DISCIPLINE
Discipline is a bridge between goals and
accomplishment. The following things need
to be taken care of -
• Attendance (After every vacation ‘re-opening
day’ attendance is mandatory) 75% attendance in
a year is compulsory.
• Home work – Punctuality and regularity need
to be taken care of.
• Attending the examinations – If the student do
not attend any paper during exam will be
marked absent.
• Timely submission of books & projects need to
be taken care of.
• Proper uniform, hair cut, nails cut etc need to be
regularly checked.
• Regular signing of the calendar.
• Parents teacher communication page in the
calendar need to checked regularly .

Electronic devices are not permitted in
school.

Parent Teacher Meetings
• Better communication between parents and
teachers will help students.
• Information regarding PTM will be
conveyed through SMS/e-mail/School
Calendar.
• Parents are requested to attend the
meetings.
• Other than PTM, parents can meet teachers
only on 4th Saturdays.
