DEAR FRIENDS:This year marked our 8th year of service. It has been an incredible journey of exploration, innovation, and change. Throughout the last eight years, we have seen the impact of our programs in Uganda and around the world, we have reached over 300 children, 500 families, 1,000 souls; providing education, food, skills empower-ment, income generating opportunities, leading many to Christ and planting churches. We have been touched by the generosity and love that people have shown us by donating, praying, shar-ing and telling others about us, opening their homes, churches to hear the incredible stories and work about the children and people in Uganda. Thank you for being part of Living Hope Uganda. The work we do wouldn’t be possible without your support. As a donor, child sponsor, one-timely giver or friend, you help tell our story and change the lives of Children, Women, families and communities across the world. We look toward the future with deep gratitude, hope, and excitement. WebaleNyo, Thank you so much for making these eight years possible and keep supporting us to Change many Lives and Transform communities. OUR TRANSFORMATIONAL MODEL

This year, Living Hope Uganda has reached

to over 1800 people through our projects helping them gain ac-cess to improved educa-tion, nutrition, medical, income generation, and right relationship with God. Poor household families have launched small manageable farms of pigs, goats, birds, gar-dens and craft shops thus establishing sustainable income that enables them to provide basic needs for their families.

IMPACT SAVING SCHEMEWhile in our campaign to break the cycle of pov-erty among poor house-hold families, we advise, inspire members of the family to adapt to a sav-ing culture. We started a small church monitored saving scheme where

members to it save on a weekly basis. This has helped and still helping many not to eat every-thing that comes into their pockets, and many women and youth have launched small-manage-able businesses for them-selves.

HOLISTIC SUPPORTWe recognize that lack of income isn’t the only thing keeping poor household families in ex-treme poverty. Depend-ing on the needs of each community, we partner with individuals, church-es, and organizations to donate animals, birds, clothes, scholastic, sports equipment, mosquito nets, deworming & vita-min tablets, water wells and more so that we may help improve the lives of poor people especially children.

BACK TO GODBiblically, curses and blessing is a choice. Our failure to obey God’s commandments leads us into curses whereas obedience to God’s com-mandments automatical-ly leads into a blessing (Deut. 28). We realize many people have lost right relationship with their creator, many voo-doo worship and chil-dren sacrificed for bless-ings and wealth. Our evangelistic Team stage out-door crusades call-ing people back to God by confessing their sins, denounce evil practices and turn faith to God. Our Love for God is ev-idenced by our love for others, as people change their morals and behav-iors a sign for bright fu-ture.

We reach out to many communi-

ties in Uganda with the gospel. In our last year’s outreaches over 1500 people gave their lives to Jesus in Kampala-Salaa-ma, Mbale-Budaka, En-tebbe, Nsangi-Nkungulu-tale, Wakiso-Buloba, and Kibale. We were privi-leged to officially launch City Life Church in the heart of Muslim and none-churched commu-nity of Buloba, in Wakiso District. We purchased the land and construction is on the first phase (that accommodates over 500 people) to the roof. Over 60-100 members usually attend our Services both Sunday and mid-week services. Lives are chang-ing every day through prayer and the preaching of God’s Word.

Our Future“Give a girl an education and introduce her properly into the world, and ten to one but she has the means of settling well, without further expense to any-body. ” ― Jane Austen

We continue to give educating, feeding, give medical, scholas-

tic, and counseling to over 300 impov-erished children from Kindergarten to grade seven (ages 4-15 years) at Living Hope Orphanage School. Last year’s Primary Leaving Examinations, we had three candidates and they passed very well with excellent grades. At five years a child in kindergarten is able to com-municate in fluently in English which is giving our school plus the teachers a recommendable credit within the com-munity.“Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.” ― Malcolm X

Our Community

In our campaign to break the cycle

of poverty, we have reached many

communities in Mityana with work-

shops, skills, and animal support

poor household families. Last year

we gave out 50 pigs, 50 goats, 100

chickens and ducks to widows and

single mothers to start small scale

animal farms, raise income out of

it. Each animal and bird helps to

keep a needy family from hunger,

and meet basic human needs for the

family.

As we review our finances over the past year, we thank God for His

provision, through you, for Living Hope Uganda needs, and we remain prayer-fully dependent on Him for the year to come. We raise funds from donations, gifts, piggery, goats, brick-laying, and craft sales. Our total income is down 100% on last year’s level, which is chiefly because of lower donations received from some generous givers. There has not been many frequent communication because most of our equipment were stolen and other crashed, the director stopped his travels outside to mother a young church. In the past year, our Minisry has plant-ed a church, purchased its land, and its raising a structure; conducted over 6 mega-soul win crusades in Buloba, Kibale, Nkungulutale, Budaka, and Entebbe where 400 people gave their lives to Jesus; we gave out piglets, goats, chicken, ducks to 100 families to break the cycle of poverty; raising a building foundation for Rescue Children’s Home at the orphanage school. All funds received in past year from Do-nations, gifts, and other incomes; this is how it was spent:67.5% of the funds was allocated to Ministry programs/projects in Feeding, Medical, Poverty alleviation, Education, child care, scholastic, evangelism, skills empowerment and church planting.24% of the funds was disbursed for General Administration of the Ministry as staff salaries, Allowances, transporta-tion, telephone, stationery, utility bills and also Bank fees & charges.
