Summer 2015
Summer is a time of growth, bringing with it our renewed fascination with everything from bear cubs and budding trees to new restaurants and homes. The Gallatin Valley continues to be one of the fastest growing communities in the US, while maintaining its beautiful mountain landscape. Long-term vision has once again come to the forefront with importance being placed on the wide-open spaces that will always be at the center of the international romance with the Yellowstone Region.
Positive signs continue to show a healthy market, renewing buyer confidence, but not without a lesson learned from the past. Today’s buyers are paying attention to the market and are purchasing listings that are priced competitively. Big Sky has less than 5% of total inventory on the market, while Bozeman homes are averaging a listing time of only 2 months. These trends point to the current regional absorption rate of 8%, showing that the market has a revived energy.
At L&K, we are very thankful for the clients who have worked with us in the past and are excited for the opportunity to assist buyers and sellers maneuver in this market that we feel so passionately about. We are constantly analyzing trends and looking for awe-inspiring properties that encompass the best of living in Montana; balancing smart investments with incredible places.
Best Regards,
Eric Ladd Ryan Kulesza
