TENDER NOTICE FOR SUPPLY OF SECURITY GUARDS, CONTINGENT MTS, SWEEPER etc. FOR EMPLOYEES' PROVIDENT FUND ORGANIZATION, SUB­REGIONAL OFFICE, UDUPI.

On behalf of Employees' Provident Fund Organization, Sub-Regional Office, Udupi sealed tenders under two bid systems are invited from reputed and experienced Security Agencies for providing Security Guards, Contingent MTS, Sweeper, etc at the given address, to be deployed at Sub-Regional Office, Udupi.

The interested agencies who abide by all the statutory provisions are required to submit the Technical and Financial bid separately. The bids in Sealed cover-I containing "Technical Bid" and Sealed cover-II containing "Financial Bid" should be placed in a third sealed cover super scribed "Tender for supply of Security Guards, Contingent MTS, Sweeper etc for EPFO, Sub-Regional Office, Udupi" and should reach the office of" Employees' Provident Fund Organization, 2nd Floor, Tulunadu Towers, Court Road, Udupi-57610 l" on or before 28.02.2017 at 04.00 P.M in the chamber of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (Adm) . The Technical bid shall be opened on the O 1.03.2017 at 11.00 A.M. All other details like EMD, Cost of Tender, Terms and Conditions, Eligibility. Last date of submission of bids etc. may be seen on the EPFO website www.epfindia.gov.in and www.ro.mangalore.gov.in in or can be had from this office.

The offer made by interested agencies shall be examined by this office which reserves the right to reject any/ all proposals without assigning any reason.

EMD /Security Deposit.

Tenderer should furnish EMD of Rs. 5000 /- (Five Thousand only) by demand draft in favour of "Regional P.F.Commissioner, Udupi payable at Udupi drawn on any nationalized/scheduled bank, which will be refunded to the unsuccessful agency. The EMD will be converted to bank guarantee by the Agency valid for the period of Agreement, as Security Deposit in the case of _successful agency to whom the contract is awarded.

The Personnel deputed should have active Aadhar No and will be required to record their attendance in AE'\BAS.

Complete Resume/Profile with the photographf of the candidates (Security Guards, Sweeper, MTS ) should be handed over to the Administration for approval before deploying to the office for duty.

Duties of Security Guards

1. The agency shall depute Security Guards are healthy and age between 25 years to 45 years. Maintain strict security of Men, Material and Premises and maintain Diary to note all important

events, happenings information received/passed to the management. Entirely responsible for

thefts of easily moveable items such bathroom fittings, fans, Exhaust fans, Telephone instruments, Fire Extinguishers, or Fire Fighting Systems etc.,

2. Will stand by management during emergency like Gherao, Picketing, Strike etc and ensure Security of EPFO staff from any assaults whatsoever.

3. Not to leave the place of duty under any circumstance until and unless properly relieved. Sign

accordingly in handing taking over Register etc.

4. Supervisors should check attendance of the guards daily.

5. Prevent of misuse of Electricity and water. 6. In case of fire, the Security Guard will immediately alert the Staff on duty and assist in Fire

Fighting Operation and also inform the concerned official immediately. In case of Fire Accident

before or after Office Hours the Guards shall inform the nearest Fire Station and concerned

EPFO Official. 7. The security guard must watch that there are no unidentified/unclaimed/suspicious

objects/persons in the building/premises.

8. The security guard shall ensure that all the electrical equipments/instruments/lights and fans should be switched off at the time of closure of the office who are part of the office.

9. The security guard should ensure that all the officers/rooms are locked at the close of office and opened at the beginning of office hours and there is safe keeping of the keys.

10. The security guards must be in proper neat and tidy uniform during their duty.

11. 11.The names of the security guards should be always displayed by them on their uniforms for

identification purpose. 12. The agency should arrange for surprise checks (during day and night) to check the alertness

and attentiveness of the security guard. However, EPFO shall be of liberty to carryout surprise

checks on the persons so deployed.

13. The security guard should check the bags/briefcases of the visitors, if considered necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities of Sweeper includes: Age(25-45)

1. Sweeping and mopping of passage. 2. Clearing and cleaning of waste paper baskets. 3 . Dusting of partitions, doors, windows, walls and Venetian blinds. 4 . Cleaning of telephone instruments. 5. Cleaning of the doors and windows glasses from inside and outside. 6. Cleaning of W.Cs, wash basin, urinal and mirrors etc. in all the toilets of

building. 7. Scrubbing and cleaning of all toilets and flooring. 8. Mopping of the entire toilet floors with deodorant disinfectant and cleaning of

wash basins at regular interval throughout the day. 9. Cleaning of terrace, Balcony, Rooms, Parking, Basement and main gate of

building. 10. Any other work assigned by the Administration in-charge.

Duties and Responsibilities of MTS includes: Age (21-45)

1. Physical Maintenance of records of section. 2. General cleanliness & upkeep of the Section/Unit. 3 . CarrJing of files & other paper within the building, 4. Photocopying, sending of FAX etc. 5 . Other non-clerical work in the Section/ Unit. 6 . Assisting in routine office work like diary, dispatch etc. inclulding on computer. 7 . Delivering of DAK (inside & outside the building) 8 . Watch and ward duties. 9. Opening & closing of rooms.

10. Cleaning of rooms. 11. Dusting of furniture etc. 12. Cleaning of building, fixture etc. 13. Work related to his ITI qualifica tion, if it exits. 14. Driving of vehicles, if in possession of valid driving license. 15. Upkeep of parks, lawns, potted plants etc. 16. Any other work assigned by superior authority.
