• Overall, the numbers have held up
• Sunday suffering since closure
• Wednesday maintaining activity levels
• The Open Meeting numbers have been very disappointing,
both for visitors and our own members
Training Report 1• Busy and successful year, PTBO 18 came for a trial sail.
6 recruited for Beginners Course
• Trained 5 Adult Beginners to RYA Level 2, 1 to Level 1
• Refresher training and induction for new members
• Trained total of 34 people in various advanced skills as “improvers”. Rudderless sailing, trapeze, spinnakers, “improvers”. Rudderless sailing, trapeze, spinnakers, racing starts, boat handling generally. (Saturdays, AJH)
• £3,500 taken in total over 19 Junior, 9 Adult and 7 Improver sessions (35 sessions)
• Congratulations to Matt, Neil W and Jago in becoming Racing Instructors
• 2 new PB2s thanks to Dave Brannigan & Chris Carrel

Training Report 2• Junior Training Thursday eves. 12 sessions +3 extra in August
• We held a 2 day Stage 2 / 3 course in Aug.
• 25 Juniors took part + 6 Juniors returned to assist instruction in
Fevas. Thanks to Dylan, William, Rhys, Eabha, Oliver, Angus. Also
Maddie and Merrick, Juniors 10 years ago instructed groups.
• We awarded 5 Stage 1, 5 Stage 2, 11 Stage 3, and 4 Stage 4
Certificates. Certificates.
• The club boats had a lot of use. Adults and parents also on water in
Lasers and 2000s whilst their children we learning
• Thanks to Andy, Bill, Jeff T, David Walters for design & build of
Topper racks and refurbishing the Topper trailer.
• Thanks to Matty C. for a lot of club boat maintenance.
• Thanks to Chris Carrel and scouts for loan of their Fevas.
• Thanks to instructors and volunteers for assistance.
