Types of centralised actions (1/2)
• Multilateral project A European cooperation activity with a defined and exploitable outcome developed jointly by a formal or informal grouping of organisations or institutions.
• Multilateral network A formal or informal grouping of bodies active in a particular field, discipline or sector of lifelong learning, focussing on strategic reflections, needs analyses and networking activities.

- The evaluation is based on 8 award criteria (+1 regarding international cooperation) published in the call. The proposal must address one priority.
- All proposals are evaluated under the same procedure with the help of external experts.
- Feedback is always given to eligible proposals (rejected or funded).

5. LLP Call for Proposals 2012
LLP participating countries
Applicants must be established in one of the following LLP countries:
– the 27 EU Member States;
– the « EFTA-EEA countries » :Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and
Switzerland;
– Turkey, Croatia;
– "Overseas countries and territories"
5. LLP Call for Proposals 2012
Third Country Participation
• Organisations in any Third Country outside the LLP participating countries may participate as partners.
• The involvement of partners from Third Countries must be justified in terms of the value added to the experience within the European countries participating in the programme.
• This option may or may not be accepted for successful proposal.

What makes a good proposal ?

Coherent (problems, solutions, target groups, activities, budget, ambitions/resources/competence)
Simple (objectives, approach) Evidence based (ex-ante needs analysis, state of art) Clear (identifying the need for such proposal, the solutions, and the
outputs) Rigorous in its planning (which activities, when, for how long,
and with what resources) Explicit (do not take for granted any information, if it is not in the
application it cannot be taken into account) Focused (a proposal is not about solving the world’s problems, but
about solving a specific issue)
