ONLINE BIBLE CAMP!
A Prayer When One Cannot Receive Communion
My Jesus, I believe that, even before I was born, you have been with me, knitting my very being, day by day, into the garment of your love,
clothing me with grace every moment of my life. And on the day of my baptism you poured your love into my heart
through the Holy Spirit who unites me eternally to you.
Through that same Spirit I pledge my love and adore you, present in your Most Holy Body and Blood.
Though I cannot consume you in this sacred banquet let me be consumed by your complete desire for me
so that my longing for you may be filled with your love alone and your mercy overflow through me into this world so in need.
On that joyful day when I do receive you in the Eucharist,
may I remember that this precious gift is still but a foretaste of the holy gifts that await your holy people at your heavenly altar. There, with the saints and angels, we shall see you face to face
and give you perfect praise for ever. Amen Diana Macalintal

Mickie Oakes, infant Paisley Carter, Richard Woodhouse, Jean McCormick, John Fobert and Rosita Kavanaugh.
Please remember to pray for those who have died including
Deacon Ed Seedhouse.
FOSTERING FULL PARTICIPATION In the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy we read that “liturgical services are not private functions, but are celebrations of the Church, which is the sacrament of unity”. (par. 26, CSL). With our return to public Mass it is important to encourage the participation of the assembly. Although our singing has to be suspended we are able to respond to the prayers, listen attentively to the Word of God and recite together the parts of the Mass that are normally sung. During this time when we cannot sing or exchange a physical sign of peace may we be intentional in fostering unity during our communal prayer.
CLEANERS AND COUNTERS Before and after each Mass we need to sanitize and clean the worship space. We need to count people as they arrive so that
we do not exceed our capacity in the church. If you are between the ages of 18 and 65 and are able to assist with the cleaning or counting please email Catherine at [email protected].
The Ministry with Maturing Adults seeks to support the lifelong faith development of women and men throughout all phases of the pre-retirement and retirement years.
The Christian Meditation will continue to meet throughout the summer each Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. This meeting is held online, you may join using your telephone or computer, Smartphone, Laptop, I-Pad. If you wish to participate please email Catherine Ecker at [email protected] and details will be sent to you. VON SMART (Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together) a gentle fitness program designed for people age 55+ will be moving to Tuesday mornings. When our parish is open and VON is ready to offer in person classes the group will meet on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. The current participants will be automatically registered in the Tuesday group. For details or to be added to the wait list please call 705-737-5044 ext. 211.
