Master LL's Agarest War 2 True End Guide(LL's Step-by-Step Guide for True End)
For more guides: http://themasterll.net
NOTES (PLEASE READ EVERYTHING FIRST BEFORE USING THE GUIDE)GUIDE IS ONLY FOR THE JAPANESE/ENGLISH (JP/EN) VERSION!
DUE TO CHANGES ON THE EUROPEAN (EU) VERSION, I CAN NOT GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL WORK.
{Content}I. Guide Advantages/DisadvantagesII. How to use the Guide Correctly
III. Continent & Color CodingIV. Additional Information
I. Guide Advantages/DisadvantagesAdvantages of using this guide:- Detailed Step-by-Step process in what to do to get True End if followed throughly.- Gain all "missable" CGs in one gameplay
Disadvantages of using this guide:- Does not allow much freedom in decisions, must follow steps exactly.- Bath House Minigame used for affection gain (those who hate minigame will most likely not like this guide).- FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE STEPS CORRECTLY MAY RESULT IN MISSING OUT THE TRUE END.
II. How to use the Guide Correctly
LP 4000-4500~^--- this is the estimated amount of LP you should have at this point (as all True End players had) before doing the following event below (Iliya Forest).- C1: Iliya Forest: Blah Violent Pain^--- first step, go to Continent 1's IIiya Forest's Battle Point "Blah Violent Pain"Frensberge^--- after that "Iliya Forest" event, return to Frensberge as the next step- Inn^--- this final step you after going back to Frensberge, is to go to the Inn
Note there are many types of STEPS/DETAILS, here are the types you will encounter in the guide:
Type #01: Limit Points (LP ####-####~)
Type #02: (CHOICE #)
Each generation is split into two columns. The column on the LEFT is the "STEPS", which tells you what or where to go next. The column on the RIGHT is the "DETAILS" for that STEP, information that can help you understand or know what the current "STEP" is about. For the few step examples below:
Type #02: (CHOICE #)
Type #03: Quests/Commissions (Clear #)
Type #04: Demon Quests
Type #05: Bath House Minigame
---------- MAJOR IMPORTANCE ----------
DO NOT SKIP ANY STEPS OR IGNORE SPECIFICED QUESTS TO BE COMPLETEDDoing so may cause important events not to appear or missed out on certain situations.
USE THE GENERATION WIFE CANDIDATES IF YOU CAN!Characters gain a very small affection every 5 battle, while it may seem small... it will add up eventually.
III. Continent & Color Coding
Continents (C#)C1: Lucrellia = (Mainland)C2: Aegisthus = (Desert)C3: Fendias = (Snow)C4: Graccea = (Wetlands)C5: Enhambre = (Archipelago)C6: Zaint Luke = (Inner Central)BP: Boundary Plains
IV. Additional Information
This guide was played on a fresh new game on HARD MODE.You can platinium this on EASY & NORMAL mode.. but "Boundary Plains 2" can only be accessed on HARD MODE.
LL strongly advise you to keep multiple saves! In case you accidently skip a step or so, you can easily go back and correct it!
Below are the Continent in the world of Agarest 2. This will be used to let you know which Continent to go for that Step.
Welcome to my "Record of Agarest War 2: True End Guide". This guide is a strict-formatted Step-By-Step guide which will help guide you to the True End route. This guide have been tested consistantly by many players (all listed in Credits) to help this guide more accurate and better. Note if EVERYTHING is followed correctly, you will reach True End. I, LL, myself
have tested each Generation twice following everything and successfully gotten to True End (including everyone in the credits that gotten the True End also).

^--- this is the estimated amount of LP you should have at this point (as all True End players had) before doing the following event below (Iliya Forest).(Choice 2) "Invite her to try some" [Jude- Yumil+ LiraLure+]^--- event telling you to choose the 2nd choice answer & affection results
[Fiona joins]^--- this lets you know doing this step will have Fiona join your party
Note there are many types of STEPS/DETAILS, here are the types you will encounter in the guide:
The estimated Limit Point range you should have by now (before doing the next Step). There is an leeway of 100-150 +/- range of flexibility (from the Min-Max)
(Choice #) means the choice to choose when asked for a decision
Each generation is split into two columns. The column on the LEFT is the "STEPS", which tells you what or where to go next. The column on the RIGHT is the "DETAILS" for that STEP, information that can help you understand or know what the current "STEP" is about. For the few step examples below:
Choice affects the members' affection rating.
The "Clear #" stated is generally the important ones you need to clear at least.eg. "Clear up to #69" = Clear all avaliable quests from #01-69
Failure to complete this when specified may cause problems using this guide.
---------- MAJOR IMPORTANCE ----------
DO NOT SKIP ANY STEPS OR IGNORE SPECIFICED QUESTS TO BE COMPLETEDDoing so may cause important events not to appear or missed out on certain situations.

LL strongly advise you to keep multiple saves! In case you accidently skip a step or so, you can easily go back and correct it!
Everytime you see this Step (Clear #), complete every avaliable quest if possible (even if I did not list all the quests!)Hit SELECT to reorder the list from "Numerical Order" to "Cleared/Open/Complete"
Order
At the end of every Generation, it is advised to clear all remaining Quests before going to the next Generation to assure the guide will work
This Step must be done at that very time! The reason is that it lowers your LP gained from Quests and Events.
Must get Complete PERFECT AFFECTION (Yellow Face Heart Eyes) on mini-game not just the word "Perfect", the affection icon at the bottom left is important! This is optional but do it if you need affection for upcoming events. This is mainly to build affection & get CGs.Here is a video example of how it is done! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2fe3Kwd-O4
The Cell Color Coding is to help mark the important Steps in the guide which you should be aware of.

Otherwise keep the ticket for next Generation if all 3 G1 Heroines are maxed.in my party and she got up to Max Lv6 Affection eventually. So try that if Aina isn't MAX, since she usually
starts with very low Affection rate.LL's Note 3: Use this time to get ACC Accessories materials while building up any G1 Heroines that doesn't have maxed Affection yet if you want.

High Break DamageLower AP cost vs Effectiveness (Damage, Break, Comboability)
Able to deal Critical DamageEasy to Equip due to no need to worry about Elemental Resist/Absorb/Weakness
Lower Wait GainDisadvantages
Can't exploit Elemental WeaknessMust up-keep HIT status to hit the enemies (or you will miss)
Critical are based on your char's stats and RNGPoor damage against Physical Resistant Enemies
{LL's Attack Style.. The Hybrid Style}I like to use a Hybrid Style hence chose the following Skill Types to focus on:
General & Combo
- This section is about showing how I play the game. It consist of tips and tactics on what Skill Books I learn as well as how I fight in battle. This section is mainly for gamers who want to improve their gameplay or want some better understand on many "so-called" complex stuff in Agarest 2.- Obviously this is mainly based on my own style and gameplay, hence it may or may not help you in anyway. But what I explain could help benefit you in how you can improve
your own gameplay better.
There are many types of attacks in this game, you want to choose the best types of attacks which you would favor for battle, whether it is Physical Magical. Note both do have their own strength and weakness.
General & Combo
Light & Dark
Void
{LL's Hybrid Style: Advantages & Disadvantages}Advantages
High compatibility for all 3 Generation mains (eg. G1: Weiss/Aina/Victora/Felenne)Ability to instantly go Physical or Magical during the fight
Very little skill configurating for melee attacks
{ II. Choosing the Skill Books }
Below are the Rank Books I bought to maximize my Style's Potentials:Unless stated, this is applied to ALL characters I used: G1/G2/G3 Main Heroes/Heroines, Eva, Fiona, Jainus & Jude.
Secret Art Books Rank 1 (and Skills I use)
Beginning Arts 03
Beginning Arts 05
Beginning Arts 11
Beginning Arts 12
Rank 1 Set is pretty basic, mainly good starting attacks and spells for my skill setup. This set is the most optimal for the skills I want to learn and use.

Medial Arts 14
Secret Art Books Rank 3
Advanced Arts 04
Advanced Arts 05
Advanced Arts 12
Advanced Arts 15
Secret Art Books Rank 4
There are many Rank Skill Books in this game. As you know, each Rank contains "color set books" which you can ONLY LEARN ONE from each "colored set". This makes it a little harder since you would have to plan and know which books is best suited for your style.
Rank 2 Set starts to add the more generalized Combo and General Combination skills for your characters. Also Light Spells such as Earth Nova and Grand Cross (two of my staple spells finally comes into play).
Rank 3 begins to start preparing for Void type (my final skill style) especially for Arts 04 & 12 while improvising on advancing my General, Combo, Light and Dark Skills. Note that Advanced Arts 15 is just a filler, since as stated I don't use any other elemental spells, 15 is good for the stats bonus and its Water-type healing
abilities.
Ultimate Arts 01
Ultimate Arts 09 (Melee/Casters with Void 6 Rank)
Ultimate Arts 11 (Melee/Casters with Void 5 Rank)
Ultimate Arts 14 (Melee/Casters who learned Arts 09)
Ultimate Arts 16 (Melee/Casters who learned Arts 11)
Ultimate Arts 20 (Melee)
Ultimate Arts 21 (Casters that specialized in Dark)
Ultimate Arts 22 (Casters that specialized in Light)
Rank 4 is where it gets tricky. Arts 01 is universial.. but from there it depends on the characters' Skill Rank in which book you should learn and so forth.
{ III. Setting up Attack Skills }Setting up how to attack is important because of a few factors: AP Usage, SP Gain and Effects.
AP Usage
SP Gain
Effects
Below is my skill setsup showing mainly for bosses:LL's Setup for Bosses
Advantages
Able to build 20+ SP per turn. Can steal EVERYTHING (both Normal, both Rare, Overkill) items
Sample Attack Pattern #1 (if Enemy has -% Burst)1/3 Turn: Schwarz, Grey, Weiss
01) Schwarz: Critical Charge -> Rapid Move02) Grey: Rapid Move03) Schwarz: Trick Hit -> Critical Charge04) Weiss: Critical Charge -> Trick Hit
Ability to switch Physical to Magical depending on Weakness/Resist of Magic and Physical.
05) Anyone: Range Spells06) Schwarz: Prison Dead07) Grey: Divine Attack -> (Weiss's Raging Sword) -> Grey: Execution08) Grey's Rapid Move (or Weiss/Schwarz's Mugging, Dead Prison)09) Repeat Grey/Weiss attacks10) Repeat #07-09
By the time the attack is over, you should be able to gain about 5-10 SP as well as 1 UP with Fiona's turn coming up. This allows you to use EXskills Fiona have.Note that there are many ways you can attack, this is just one of the sample patterns I usually do on my Boss Videos.

EXskills are important as knowing what you decide can make or break the game. Below are a few I strongly suggest you to have to help make the game easier in the long run.
{ V. Battle Tips }Tips in Battle that should help you in the long run.
Attack Gauge control (AG) [as explained on the previous section]
Combination Attacks "Status Modifier"
{ VI. Status, Point Placements & Active Skills }This section is my own personal experience on what Status does, how it affects you as well as how/what you concentrate on (especially on HARD MODE).
STRENGTH [STR]
VITALITY [VIT]
AGILITY [AGI]
DEXTERITY [DEX]
INTELLIGENCE [INT]Obviously this should be where all your points be placed for casters. More INT means more damage! Nothing else matters!
MENTAL [MND]Worthless and not even worthy of placing any points into. Don't bother. In this game, it is all about Offense, not Defense.
{ LL's Priority of Point Placements }Melee
STR > DEX > VIT > AGI > INT/MND
---- Additional Status You Should Be Aware of ----
ATTACK (ATK)
This is the most important stat for melee, one I would personally place points all the time. The more STR you have, the more damage you can inflict as well as increase your HIT ability too.
VIT helps for the beginning first five characters since they start at Level 01. Giving them about 100 VIT will make them have more than 2-3x the HP compared to every Generation characters in the game. Combined that with EXskill "No Fear", they will be taking hits for a long time before they could get killed. Even so, it is a
good idea to invest some PP into the characters you want to use (at least 50 VIT) if you have the PP to spare.
Agility is not one you need to spend any points on at all, EXECPT for one character so they always get guranteed first turn. Other than that, you can easily modify your turns with AGI Active Skills (LUK in the EN version because it is renamed incorrectly..) With that first turn, you can easily take out enemies to reduce their
chances of killing you on their turn. You need at least 500 Agility to assure you get first turn for the whole True End run. Post-Game Boundary Plains (Hard Mode), requires maybe 700 or more (unsure).
DEX should only be invested solely for increase your HIT (since it raises it faster than STR). NEVER invest it for AVD. But like Agility, you can easily modify your HIT status with Active Skill "ACCURACY, ACCURACY+, ACCURACY++" which is much more effective in the long run.
HIT (HIT)You will need about this amount to assure you will hit the enemies/bosses:
Generation 1 (200 HIT), Generation 2 (400 HIT), Generation 3 & True End Path (600 HIT), Boundary Plains Hard-Mode (850+ HIT).
MAGIC (MAG)
AVOID (AVD)
---- Active Skills Suggestions ----ATK+150
MAG+150
ACCURACY, ACCURACY+, ACCURACY++
Restore AP, Restore AP+, Restore AP++
Critical Up
This is gained from equipments and reinforcement. You can also use "ATK+150" Active Skills to help boost the damage even more. By Post-Game, my Weiss & Schwarz have 10k Attack Power.

While it looks like investing in AVD seems awesome (after all, if the enemy can't hit you, then you're invincible right?!). WRONG. There are many ways to bypass AVD status such as EXskills as "Accuracy" (100% Hit Rate) or Original Skills (bypass AVD). Also, spells are always 100% hit rate.

Changing Motion (Burst/Down/Stun changes) gives you 1 SP. The more you change motion
Some attacks can give special effects on the enemies. One such example is Arc-En-Ciel
Below is my skill setsup showing mainly for bosses:LL's Setup for Bosses
DisadvantagesDoes not take any advantage of any elemental weakness aside from Light or Dark
No Motion Change after getting to Stun (full party attack)
Explaination
I keep using it until Guard Break since my Grey has the highest Break Damage.
Move, this will allow Schwarz to chain to Down before Motion Change (Rapid Move does Down-Burst).
This will put me in Down Motion. If Attack Gauge is not high enough I go to #04, other go to #06.Again, to build up Attack Gauge to do combos. If Attack Gauge is not high enough go to #05, otherwise #06.
Until you get the Attack Gauge high enough for Combination ATtacks. This will place into STUN motion also SP+1.
Motion Change to STUN. SP+1.Motion Change to DOWN. SP+1.Keep Motion Change while dealing damage to boss while gaining SP.
By the time the attack is over, you should be able to gain about 5-10 SP as well as 1 UP with Fiona's turn coming up. This allows you to use EXskills Fiona have.Note that there are many ways you can attack, this is just one of the sample patterns I usually do on my Boss Videos.
SAMPLE VIDEO BELOWhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Atrpo4Dr6vg
Other notes on a few things as you watch the sample video (on the video above):How I let my AG drop for Grey, so instead of Combination "Earth Nova" it will be Single Skill "Divine Attack". Not only will it conserves AP, it will also build the AG up enough to do the combination skill "Execution" to get into DOWN motion state. How extremely overpowered this EXskill is. This will be explained on the next section. If you noticed, my "Chiliadal Genocide" (aka. Thousand Deaths) is only Lv02. I can use a Lv03 if I equip Grey with "Trick Hit" (where "Meltdown" Combination Attack is. But in doing so will mean extra AP used just to be able to use "Arc-En-Ciel", which is not efficient against bosses or dealing wide Area-Effect damage. This is why you see "Meltdown" is there on Grey, as a holding point if I ever want to use "Lv03 Chiliadal Genocide".
{ IV. EX-Skills Suggestions }
Who you choose as your wife AND her affection will determine what EXskill the son will have!
Comments- Immunity to all damage till equalivant of the character's Base HP
- Increase EXP and TP gained in battle (Blessing)- Increase TP gained in battle (Training)
A great all-around EXskill to use, really no excuse to not use it.- Reduce Wait Delay
- HIT increaseMust have for melee characters, if your HIT rate is low, you will miss.Satori and Hunter are great. Satori gives evasion buff while Hunter gives Critical buff.Accuracy gives "Absolute Hit", you will never miss although the SP is higher.
- Reduce all AP cost usage
- Prevents Counter Active Skill and Magic Counter Active Skill attacks
If you don't have Execution due to low Attack Gauge, use Weiss's Raging Sword to build enough Gauge so Grey can use Execution. Motion change to DOWN. SP+1
EXskills are important as knowing what you decide can make or break the game. Below are a few I strongly suggest you to have to help make the game easier in the long run.
starting five characters in the beginning of the game can make the most out of this EXskillinsane high Base HP, they can survive almost everything thrown at them (even the final boss if he uses both his OS).With this EXskill, you don't even need Parry or Magic Barrier since those are extremely hard to trigger due to requiring your HP to be 20% or less. Also, you don't need "Anti-Counter" or "Anti-Magic Counter" since "No Fear" should void all counter damages too.
Having a "Reduce Delay" skill is important as it helps you get into action quick on your Turn Order after attacking."Float" should be easy to learn while Dance should only be learned if you don't have any other choice.
Reducing AP cost for everything (Item Usage, Ultimate Strike, Attacks). Who wouldn't want that?!
Until No Fear comes into play, this is a very cheap SP costing EXskill which can save your lives especially if you deal enough damage that the counter can one-shot you.
{ V. Battle Tips }Tips in Battle that should help you in the long run.
The stats modifier Combaintion Attack uses ONLY the person that triggers it.If you use someone with low HIT, everyone will miss on the Combo Attack. If you use someone with high HIT (even if everyone else has low HIT), it will hit.
{ VI. Status, Point Placements & Active Skills }This section is my own personal experience on what Status does, how it affects you as well as how/what you concentrate on (especially on HARD MODE).
Every point adds to ATK. Every 4 points adds to HIT.
Every points adds to your DEF and HP gain (per level up).
The higher level the character is, the less effective placing points into VIT will help.
Every point adds to your AVD, also affects your turn in the "Turn Order".
Every other point adds into HIT and AVD.This stat is mainly used to increase your HIT for your melee characters.
Every point adds to your MAG.Obviously the most important stats for casters.
Obviously this should be where all your points be placed for casters. More INT means more damage! Nothing else matters!
Every point adds to your RST.Status resist and increase healing abilities.
Worthless and not even worthy of placing any points into. Don't bother. In this game, it is all about Offense, not Defense.

Skill "Divine Attack". Not only will it conserves AP, it will also build the AG up enough to do the combination skill "Execution" to get into DOWN motion state.

your HIT rating without spending points into DEX. Make sure you Active Skill Link to increase the effect!
You can get each upgrade respectively per Generation. This will give you a nice AP increase for the current character.
Void is my end-game spell which is Non-Elemental to help bypass the need to use Light/Dark if needed (plus Arc-En-Ciel is just OP).
How I let my AG drop for Grey, so instead of Combination "Earth Nova" it will be Single Skill "Divine Attack". Not only will it conserves AP, it will also build the AG up enough to do the combination skill "Execution" to get into DOWN motion state.

WARNING: GUIDE CHANGES SOONThis update won't really hurt the guide itself but more of a "restructuring" as followed:
-- SECTIONS --- With the new section "Introduction", I will be adding Do's, Don't in using my guide to help keep the redundancy of same information low.
A new section will be created for "Generation 01". Nothing, hard.. just a simple copy/paste.
--- COLOR CODING ---
- "Events Information" color coding will be removed as it is not deemed important but just miscellaneous information on what the event is about.
- "Affection Choices" will have a color coding as it is very important to know which events does affect affection imho.
--- GENERATION GUIDE ---- Some lines will be expanded with more information or split details. Other lines may be compressed.
- Some "description" (right column) will be altered for better understand or more in-depth information
- Since "Generation 01" tab is indexed as "0" on the Google Spreadsheet, it is defaulted as the primary Section you access when you log in. I am going to completely replace that "Index" with "Introduction" as it IS important to read that before using the guide.
- Color Coding may change to better stand out as importance. Like "Demon Quest", thinking of changing it from "Purple" to something that will stand out more since it is very important
- Color Coding may highlight both "Main" (left Column) and "Description" (right column) so it better stands out (like Demon Quests or "Yellow-Colored Important
So please be aware of the Lines will be changed and you can't rely on it anymore (as it can be different next time you use the guide). Know what your LP is and where you are in the guide (DO NOT DEPEND ON THE LINE NUMBER) and you should be fine.. until I fix it up.
