This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Lima Memorial Foundation. The Foundation plays an important role in the communities we serve, supporting uncompensated health care to low income families, promoting a broad range of medical education and training programs and sponsoring and supporting various health initiatives and services. Our responsibilities as a non-profit tax-exempt charitable organization reflect our mission and core values.

Over the years, more than 40,000 gifts have been given to the Lima Memorial Foundation totaling more than $12.8 million. Through careful investment of our donations, those gifts have accrued more than $2 million in interest, for a total of more than $15 million to help Lima Memorial Health System.

The Foundation has received $2.7 million in memorial contributions which are donations made in honor of loved ones and friends. Also, more than $3.3 million has been donated through bequests and estates. The generosity continues with LMHS associates who have donated nearly $800,000 to the Foundation in the past 20 years.
