Electing two school board members. e term will be for three years. e three-year terms of Jeffry Hewson and Scott Monke will expire on June 30, 2020. Election of one school board member representing district area composed of Peaceful Valley, Moord, Rainy Butte, Dovre and E-6 Townships of Slope County and Fisher, TWP 137-98 and 137-97 of Stark County, which are in the New England Public School District. Election of one school board member representing district area composed of Kunze and New England Townships of Hettinger County, including the city of New England. Enforcement divi- sion operations supervi- sor Jackie Lundstrom said last fall’s record wet conditions have resulted in more water than nor- mal moving within or between lakes, causing areas of bad ice, which is intensified near bridges and culverts. “Furthermore, ex- treme fluctuations in tem- peratures have created unstable ice conditions in some parts of the state, and driving or fishing near pressure ridges and culverts should be avoid- ed,” Lundstrom said. Pressure ridges, cracks and slushy or dark areas signal thinner ice. Be aware of ice conditions

The North Dakota Game and Fish Depart-ment reminds ice anglers to continue to use caution when traveling on frozen waters, even though re-cent ice conditions may appear safe.

Enforcement divi-sion operations supervi-sor Jackie Lundstrom said last fall’s record wet conditions have resulted in more water than nor-mal moving within or between lakes, causing areas of bad ice, which is intensified near bridges and culverts.

“Furthermore, ex-treme fluctuations in tem-peratures have created

unstable ice conditions in some parts of the state, and driving or fishing near pressure ridges and culverts should be avoid-ed,” Lundstrom said.
