AFW2 Care Team: (1300-1430), 24 January. Mul�- disciplinary team for support of AFW2 members on Moody AFB & the surrounding communi�es. This team also supports WW of other branches of service as needed.
Boots to Business B2B: (0830- 1600) 31 Jan- 02 Feb. Ac�ve duty, family members or DOD cardholders can a�end the 2- day workshop; which consist of, a curriculum that provides valuable assistance to Service members exploring business ownership or other self-employment opportuni�es.
Capstone: (0900-1100), 2,09, 16, 23 & 30. Step 3 in Out-processing the A&FRC for separa�on/re�rement. Verifica�on of Career Readiness Standards. Every Wednesday from 0900-1100, walk-in – first come, first served.
Career Explora�on & Planning Track CEPT: (0800- 1600) 29 -30 January. New Cirriculum- Career Explora�on & Planning Track Par�cipants will recieve assistance in iden�fying required creden�als and inves�ga�ng training op�ons to pursue those qualifica�ons. The outcomeis a customized plan for sucess to help smooth a service member’s move toward a technical career. Group Pre-separa�on Counseling: (0900-1200), 04 & 18 December. Designed to complete the DD Form 2648 which covers Employment Assistance, Veteran Benefits, Reloca�on, etc. This mandatory briefing is required for every member separa�ng or re�ring from the military and is a prerequisite for a�ending the Senior TAP or Transi�on GPS (TAP). Heartbeats from Home: (1000-1100), 29. Support Group for deployed Spouses.
Key Spouse Ini�al Training: (0900- 1300) 31. Required for newly appointed Key Spouses.
Newcomers Orienta�on: (0800-1100), 15 & 29 Welcome to Moody orienta�on for all military in-processing the base. Spouses are encouraged to a�end. Briefings include Wing Leadership, on-base agencies, and the informa�on fair for community services. Registra�on is through the base MPS.
Onboarding Welcome Breakfast: (0800- 1100) 24. Welcoming reloca�ng members to Moody AFB, providing a tour and expousure to base clubs.
Private Sector Resume Wri�ng: (1300-1500), 20. This workshop will provide you with effec�ve �ps ion wri�ng a federal resume in order to procure a federal civilian posi�on.
Remote Tours/ Pre Deployment: (1400-1500), 3,10, 17, 24, 31. Mandatory for members PCSing to remote loca�on. Family members are highly encouraged to a�end.
Spouse Pre-Deployment: (1000-1100), 07. For spouses whose sponsor is deploying or deployed. They will receive informa�on about the different services available and to give them an opportunity to ask ques�ons, meet staff, and tour center.
Transi�on GPS: (0800-1700), 07-11 January. This 5-day workshop is designed to prepare those leaving the military with employment skills necessary to secure employment in the civilian sector. A�endees will learn the job process, under-stand vacancy announcements, resume prepara�on, the job interview, salary nego�a�on, and other valuable skills. Please call 229-257-3333 to request a seat.
