LOCATED WALKING DISTANCE FROM CENTRAL STATION, TUCKED AWAY NEXT TO THE UTS TOWER BUILDING, YOU’LL FIND THE LOFT UTS. MORE THAN A UNI BAR, THE LOFT IS A HIDDEN URBAN OASIS PERFECT FOR A DRINK AND HOMEMADE PIZZA AFTER WORK WITH FRIENDS.

OUR REGULAR OPENING HOURS ARE FROM 2PM TILL LATE ON MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS, AND WE’RE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR ENTIRE VENUE HIRE ON WEEKENDS.

WITH A LEAFY COURTYARD, AMPLE INDOOR SEATING, LARGE BAR AND PRIVATE BOARDROOM, THE LOFT IS THE IDEAL PLACE TO HOLD YOUR FUNCTION. WE DO CHRISTMAS PARTIES TO BOARDROOM MEETINGS, MUSIC GIGS TO PRODUCT LAUNCHES.

THERE ARE THREE MAIN BOOKING OPTIONS FOR THE LOFT: BOARDROOM RENTAL, UPSTAIRS LOFT, AND ENTIRE VENUE HIRE. PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING PRICES AND OPTIONS AS A GUIDE - WE ARE HAPPY TO CONSIDER A RANGE OF FLEXIBLE OPTIONS TO BEST SUIT YOUR EVENT.

BOARDROOM RENTALAvailable Monday-Friday

$250 room hire• Accommodates 24 people seated in a boardroom set up or up to 50 in standing cocktail set up• Coffee & tea available• Cheese platters, canapés or lunch packages available• Includes use of projector and screen

LOFT UPSTAIRSAvailable Monday-Friday from 2pm

$400 room hire or $500 minimum bar spend• Mixed seating includes: long booth, tables & chairs, lounges & coffee tables, which can be arranged to your preference• Accommodates 35 people seated or up to 50 in standing cocktail set up - can extend to include the boardroom to accommodate 100 guests• Variety of food packages available• Pop-up private bar available with set drinks (minimum bar spend of $1000).

ENTIRE LOFTDownstairs & Upstairs There is no hire fee to book The Loft exclusively, just a minimum spend which can be used for both a drink tab and bar food. Security and A/V is an additional cost.

WEEKDAYS $3000 SATURDAYS $3000 SUNDAYS $4000

• Accommodates up to 300 guests (includes upstairs & courtyard).• Function food available (canapés, homemade pizzas, platters or BBQ).• iPod facilities available (provides music inside & in the courtyard).• DJ, sound & light equipment available for hire. Please note that an A/V technician will be required if you wish to use this equipment.• If your event requires security guards these are charged at $35 / hour + GST: • 2 guards required for the first 100 guests • 1 additional guard per 100 guests thereafter

PIZZA OPTIONS

• MARGHERITA - homemade tomato sugo sugo topped with Italian mozzarella, fresh basil, sea salt & cracked pepper

• FUNGHI - white base with Italian mozzarella, mushrooms & a sprinkle of chilli flakes, rosemary, sea salt & cracked pepper

• PEPPERONI - homemade tomato sugo topped with thinly sliced pepperoni, Italian mozzarella & a sprinkle of chilli flakes

• CLASSIC HAWAIIAN - homemade tomato sugo topped with shredded ham, pineapple & Italian mozzarella

• Bowl of wedges with sweet chilli & sour cream $8

• Bowl of fries with tomato or BBQ sauce $6

• Cheese platter with 4 cheeses & lavosh crackers $48

EXTERNAL PACKAGESPlease note that the following packages are provided by another Activate UTS venue, Aerial UTS Function Centre, and therefore NOT included in a minimum spend. These packages incur a $15 delivery fee.

PLATTER SELECTIONANTIPASTO PLATTER

• Olives, chargrilled vegetables, cold meats, smoked salmon, asparagus and marinated mushrooms, served with assorted breads. $12 p / person | Minimum 10 people

VIETNAMESE PLATTER• Fresh Vietnamese spring rolls, satay chicken skewers, noodle salad $12 p / person | Minimum 10 people

MEZZE PLATTER• Lamb fillet skewers, grilled haloumi cheese, falafel, dolmades, served with tabouli, assorted breads & dips $12 p / person | Minimum 10 people

TERMS & CONDITIONS• Prices are subject to change with the needs of your function based on staffing requirement etc. The provided information should be used as a guide.

• Only products purchased from our venue may be consumed at your function. If you wish to self-cater or bring sound equipment, this must be discussed with the manager.

• Prices are based on a 5 hour event and must conclude by 12midnight. If you require a later finishing time an additional $250/hour charge will apply to your booking.

• Management has the right to refuse entry based on dress and behavioural standards of the venue and while maintaining Responsible Service of Alcohol.

• By signing above, you confirm your booking date and agree to Activate UTS charging your credit card a $500 cancellation fee if you cancel your booking within 14 days of the event. Payment of minimum spend will be required for any cancellations within a 24 hour period.
