Introduction
INTRODUCTIONThe FYP is implemented over a TWO (2) -
semester period. For the first semester, a student will register for
2 CREDITS (EKT 445). For the second semester, a student will register
4 CREDITS for EKT 446.
FYP1 Course Outcome
CO1
Ability to apply and integrate theory and practical which has been studied to solve the engineering problems. (Project Management)
CO2
Ability to develop the suitable research methodology for the project. (Project Management & Report)
CO3
Ability to present and justify/defend the project proposal. (Project Report & Presentation)
Course Evaluation
COURSE EVALUATION
1. Project Management : 20% (15% from supervisor, 5% from FYP coordinator).
2.Project Proposal (Progress Report) : 60% (30% from supervisors and 30% from panels).
3. Presentation : 20 % (from panels)

PROJECT MANAGEMENT (20%)Assessment by Supervisor :Evaluated twice per semester1) Personal Development – Student Attitude (5 marks)For each criteria, the rate will be either:
Very Poor (1), Poor (2), Moderate (3), Good (4), Excellent (5)
2) Project Development : (a) Gantt Chart / Milestone – (5 marks) , (b) Log Book – (5 marks), (c) Progress Report – (5 marks)

Evaluated by two (2) examiners.
Each examiner contributes 10% of the marks.
Will be conducted DURING REVISION WEEK.
The list of students with respective panels will be
distributed 2 weeks before the presentation day.
