NORTH LOMBOK’s Senggigi is a beautiful stretch of bay almost every travelersee. This is the center of resorts and international restaurants in the island, andis located within close distance to Teluk Nara, the jumping point to THE THREEGILIS. A little north from there is Tanjung, a much more upscale area.

SOUTH LOMBOK is best known for Kuta Beach, yet dozens of beautiful white-sand beaches with gorgeous backdrop of green hills are located along thecoastline. SOUTHWEST AND SOUTHEAST LOMBOK is remote and rugged, yet isthe jumping point to as many as 25 other lesser known gilis.

TANA TORAJA

A cultural documentary brought into life. Toraja is characterized by sweeping andfantastic traditional houses with boat-shaped roofs. It is hemmed in by themountains on all sides, with rich traditional cultures and elaborate funeral rites andastounding stone graves, lined with life-sized wooden effigies (tau tau).

Nature is simply unbelievable here, with rice fields set among pine trees and theclouds moving beneath your feet. It is, as the locals say, a “Kingdom Above TheClouds”.
