We decided to write about London because last week we did different activities to learn about this city. London is the capital of England and the UK. England is a part of an island called Great Britain with Scotland and Wales. Great Britain and Northern Ireland are the United Kingdom.London is a very big city and it has got lots of famous places: Big Ben, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, London Bridge, Cleopatra’s Needle, Westminster Bridge, Tower of London, Buckingham palace…In this city there are lots of museums:Madame Tussauds, Natural History Museum, National Gallery, Victoria and Albert museum, Science museum, Royal Observatory…There are many beautiful parks too:Hyde Park, Green Park, Regents park, Saint James park, Kensington gardens… Other typical places are:Soho, Wimbledon, China town, Oxford Street, London Aquarium, Greenwich, theatres, pubs…If you are in London, you can also visit other cities like Oxford, Cambridge or York
