London Container Terminal provides a unique combination of Deep Sea andEuropean Short Sea trades at the same facility. It’s the first of many connections we are making, joining supply chains;working with shipping lines through toretailers; bringing together logisticsproviders with our customer network;and ultimately connecting to portcentricwarehousing within the Port of Tilburyand at the new London Distribution Park.

Terminal StatisticsLondon Container Terminalplaces great emphasis ongood security on its terminal,and boasts what is one of the most comprehensive, and modern surveillance systems available. In addition, the terminal has fully manned, twenty-four hour security on site.Uncontainerised cargo handling, and lashing. A fullservice for abnormal loads. Ship planning: LCT providesa comprehensive ship planning service for load/discharge of ships, based onthe requirements of the shipoperator. Bayplans in BAPLIEformat can be electronicallyexchanged with operatinglines and terminals. Full communication protocol with both UK community systems (CNS & Destin8).
