Thechildrenthatmoveintothisvillagecomefromthemostseverebackgroundsofextremepoverty,abuseandneglect.SomeareHIVpositive,whileotherscomefromchild-headedhouseholds.17%ofallchildreninZambiadiebeforetheir5thbirthdayand65%ofthepopulationlivesonlessthe$1.25aday.Noneofthesekidschosetheirstateinlife,butnoweachofthemmustsomehowtrytoexistinit.
