We have sourced timber from around the globe for this incredible collection. Our designers have obsessed over the colour, texture and grain variation of each individual plank to bring you the absolute best design possible. Quantum Next Generation Flooring has been manufactured specifically to endure the harsh Australian climate. Our iQ+ core utilises cutting edge materials to withstand expansion during our hot summers and to resist contraction throughout our cold winters.

During scientific testing, Quantum outperformed all of the current loose lay planks in the market. Results show that Quantum is 5 times more dimensionally stable than the nearest performing product in this category.

Not only does Quantum perform in a wide variety of climates, we have also incorporated high-end anti fade inks that are rated 40% higher than the European standard. This ensures that the floor will resist fading during the harsh Australian summer.

Quantum utilises cutting-edge material science to enhance performance. The hallmark of a great vinyl plank is in its ability to resist thermal expansion and contraction. Using a combination of advanced fibreglass layers and anti thermal compounds that shrink when heated and expand when cooled, we have achieved the highest stability to date.

Thermal Expansion TestThis test measures the change in length the plank will experience when heated from a cold state. It simulates the effects that real-world temperature changes will have on the plank’s dimensions during a day.

AMSTERDAM

Hundred year old oak trees growing along the world famous canals of Amsterdam needed to be removed for dike work to keep the city from being submerged. We managed to source some this beautiful timber and use it as the inspiration behind our new Quantum Loose Lay colour Amsterdam. We used this timber in several different ways but the one pictured here is in its most natural form. Cross sawn to highlight the amazing cathedrals then lightly sanded to leave us with this stunning natural appearance.

Chapel Bridge in Lucerne, Switzerland is the inspiration behind this stunning colour. Chapel Bridge is the oldest foot bridge in Europe and extends across the mineral rich waters of the river Reuss. Built in 1333 AD, the oak woods are constantly being tended to and replaced due to soaking up the minerals from the river below. These minerals turn the oaks from their natural colour into this stunning shade of grey and actually soften the timber. It would be imposable to have this timber laid directly on your floor as it is just too fragile, so we have taken the natural beauty of this timber and created the colour Lucerne.
