Adjectives generally follow the noun they modify:

However, adjectives of quantity generallyprecede the nouns they modify:

BUT... bueno and malo can be used either before or after the noun that they describe with no change in meaning

primero and tercero can be used the same way - before or after the noun that they describe without changing the meaning.

Santo becomes SAN before a masculine name of a saint unless the saint's name begins with TO- or DO-

Comparatives are the comparison of one person or thing to another (more, less, or as... as). In English we add er to an adjective or use the words more or less with an adjective.
My grandmother is more artistic than my father.
Science class is less fun than English class.
Your sisters are as serious as the teacher.

With nounsIf a noun is part of the superlative, it is placed between the article and the superlative
Carmen es la chica ms creativa de la clase (this is only out of all of the girls in the class)Pedro es el chico ms atltico del grupo. (out of the entire group, Pedro is the most athletic boy)
