WOMAN IDENTIFIED AS WRECK VICTIM IS ALIVE Parents Fail to Believe That Miss Jagemann Escaped Death CHICAGO, Aug. 29.—There was Joy in the home of George Jagemann yes- terday where gloom reigned a few hours uefore, and Miss Lena Jage- mann, the daughter who has been mourned as one of the victims of the Grand Trunk railroad wreck near Dur- and, Mich., Is on her way to Chicago to assure her parents she is still alive. So impossible did it seem that the young woman was still alive after hep father had gone to Durand and Iden- tified the body of one of the dead as that of his daughter, that the first tel- egram from Toronto, in which Miss Jt jemann said she had escaped Injury, did not reassure the parents and yes- terday two more messages came from her in reply to the anxious inquiries. The last one announced she would fol- low immediately herself. REGULARS TO STUDY ARMY TACTICS AT FORT RILEY JUNCTION CITY, Kas., Aug. 29.— Problems at the Fort Riley camp of instruction for the comjng week will be worked out by the troops of tha regular army alone. The two regi- ments of Kansas national guards left the camp Friday morning, and two Nebraska regiments went Saturday, each having completed two weeks of tactical work. No more national guard regiments will be at Fort Riley until next week, when the Missouri and Oklahoma militia arrive for twenty-four days' work. Until the militiamen arrive the work of the regulars will be confined to tactics. . . TO ARREST WOMAN WHO HELD UP FORMER HUSBAND SALEM, Ore., Aug. 29.—A deputy sheriff left here laet night to arrest Mrs. Clara E. Klnsey on a charge of holding up her divorced husband at the point of a revolver and kidnaping their 16-months-old baby. The husband, Charles E. Klnsey, a merchant of Mills City, swore out the warrant for the arrest. He informed the district attorney his wife had come to his home with her brother and, leveling a revolver at his chest, de- manded possession of their three chil- dren. However, she left when the husband handed over the youngest child.
