OBJECTIVES

• Develop game day promotions that excite and attract fans• Create awareness of our affordable season ticket price • Get a large number of season ticket holders as well as mini pack buyers

TARGET AUDIENCE• Lakers Fans• Large Corporations around the Los Angeles area• College students in LA ( Cal State, USC, UCLA)• Buyers and supporters of our sponsors

MARKETING STRATEGY

• Use of brochures and posters that we have handed out at universities, local businesses, and the staples center• Use Lakers Games and Staple Center Events to push ticket sales and try to increase a fan base • Place season ticket information online ,as well as, having single game tickets sold online• Promote our games at local college sporting events• Promote games by placing game cards in local business offices

MARKETING STRATEGY CONT’D

• Create a radio station blitz campaign to encourage people to want to come to games • Use facebook and twitter ads to promote our team• We are going to create ads to put in the LA Times• Create commercials and contest commercials

-such as: Text LASuns to “this number” to try and win 2 free tickets to the next home game• Put up billboards along major highways running through LA to

advertise our top players and new stadium• We also are going to have an open practice where fans may come to watch the players as well as get some autographs and photos afterwards

WORKING WITH SPONSORS

• Coca cola is one of our sponsors and we are working with them to create coupons on their 12 and 24 pack cases that could be redeemed for a discount on tickets• We are also working with Pizza Hut to place our game schedules on top their pizza boxes

Promotions Bud’s Buddies- If you buy Bud’s Buddies tickets you get 50% off

Budweiser beer, 25% off food and a chance to win many more prizes.

Verizon’s Text-a way Give-a way- text number through out game to win prizes.

• Kids meet the Clydesdales – petting zoo set up in stadium parking lot for children and fans to see and pet the Clydesdales that are used in the commercials.

Chevrolet

• Fans can enter to win cars in different contests throughout the season.

• Cars will be randomly selected as they enter the stadium to upgrade their parking into the Chevy Parking Zone.

• Chevrolet will give out Coupon books for tune up and other car services.

Home Depot

• Players help the fans renovate – Fans can enter a contest and once a month several fans will be selected to receive a “mans room” renovated in their house.

Farmers Insurance

• Farmers Insurance have the naming rights to our stadium Farmers field.
