100% owned by LOT Polish Airlines S.A. till 19th of March 2012,
On March 20th 2012, 100% of shares purchased by Agency for Investment & Industry Development – Polish Government Agenda,
Equity capital of ~ 63 mln EUR,

Brief Overview of LOTAMS
LOT’s workshops established in 1925 by LOT’s predecessor – Aerolot,
Movement to the current location from Warsaw’s Mokotów airport in 1933, re-established in March 1945,
Junkers Ju-52 operated by LOT – Warsaw, 1937
Iliushin-18th serviced by LOT Tech. Div. – Warsaw, late 60s of 20th century
Brief Overview of LOTAMS
1989 – LOT and its Technical Division switch to western technology by acquiring its first B767 (as the first operator in the region), soon to be followed by ATR-72s and B737s,
2010 – Establishment of LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services as a separate legal entity,
5th April, 2012 – LOT AMS becomes the Authorized Service Center for EMBRAER AVIATION INTERNATIONAL SAS for the whole range of fleet of ERJ and EMB,

Ramp Services:
All major services incl. Daily, Weekly, ETOPS and other routine checks are provided by a specialist team on a 24-hour standby for: Airbus A320 Family (V2500/CFM-56),Embraer 145/170/175/190/195, Boeing 737 Classic and Next Generation, Boeing 767-200/300 (CF6-80/PW-4000) and ATR42/72,
Hangar line, base and heavy maintenance for B737 Classic, B767, ATR 42/72 and Embraer 145/170/175/190/195 fleets:
Scheduled „A” checks, „C” and „D” checks, Major aircraft structural inspections and repair, Major modification on the aircraft, engine and related systems, Major aircraft defect rectification and component change, Corrosion prevention and control program, Non- Destructive Testing and Aircraft weighting, Paint-stripping and painting of aircraft exteriors.
Core Competencies – Workshops
Paint shop
Complex painting services for small and medium sized aircraft, using Akzo Nobel or PPG products.
Process includes:washing, mechanical and chemical striping, NDT test and final painting in accordance with the Customer’s request
Wheels Shop
Complete overhaul of wheels
Brakes Shop
Complete overhaul of Meggit, Goodrich, Honeywell and Messier-Bugatti
breaks

Gas cylinders shop
Cylinder checking, weighing and charging.
Hydrostatic tests according to DOT requirements (RIN No H245).
Metal sheet shop
Metal sheet repairs and modifications performed in the shop and on aircraft

Performing minor parts necessary during aircraft maintenance process

Complete overhaul of Saft and Marathon Nickel - Cadmium batteries.
NDT methods: Eddy current, Penetrate Test,
Ultrasonic Magnetic Particle and X-Ray.

Emergency equipment shop
Repair, modifications and tests for emergency slides and rafts, life jackets and pneumatic de-icers.
Composite shop
Structural repair of components made from: carbon, glass, aramid, reinforced epoxy resin, non-metallic and metallic honeycomb sandwich.
Passenger seats shop
Repair of B/E Aerospace, SICMA, Weber and Aeromot passenger seats.
Upholstery shop
Manufacturing of seat covers and carpets
Repair and refurbishment of a/c interior parts.

LOT AMS cooperation with Embraer
LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services LLC signed an agreement with EAI, Embraer Aviation International SAS in Paris, France on 5th April 2012. As a result, LOT AMS became the EMBRAER AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER.
By signing the agreement our company has became the only Embraer Authorized Service Center in the Central and Eastern Europe. We are also one of five Authorized Service Centers in Europe and one of twelve centers throughout the world.
