The carriage with a gold crown to the center of the roof and edged with 8 gold finials (one broken), is painted with foliate decoration centered with flowers. A pair of footman ride on the rear of the carriage wearing yellow and braided uniform with stockings, buckled shoes and tricorn hats. There is a standing footman dressed in a blue frock coat with purple cape and buckled shoes (one damaged). A stable-hand is depicted steadying the horses. The horses ceremonially harnessed with plume and crown to their forelocks. The whole set on a porcelain plateau representing cobble stones. The base measures approx 58 cms in length and 24 cms in width at it's widest point and the height is approx 27 cms. Cancelled crossed sword to base. (One horse has broken at the carpus. Loss to the shoe of the footman. The plateau base also has a couple of stress cracks, restoration is a possibility.)
