The early church were a dedicated people. They dedicated themselves to sharing life in community, to sharing the Gospel, in simple, local and relational ways but they also dedicated themselves to prayer. We see in Acts 1:24, 2:42, 4:24-31 6:6, 16:25, 20:36.

As we go to love Leeds as a community through simple, local and relational mission, prayer must be our foundation, our missional starting and end point.

My prayer is that this Love Leeds Prayer Guide, with scripture readings from Acts, will help us come before our Father each morning, seek His will and be filled with His Spirit before we go to love Leeds in His Son’s name.

Each evening, why not also consider thanking God for all you have seen him do, perhaps using social media if appropriate under #LoveLeeds, and pray for those you have reached and served.
