The K-2 children wrote about their favourite part of the Christmas concert.

After the concert I was running around the oval with my uncle. My favourite food was the candy canes. Albie

I liked my art prize. I liked Santa coming to give out yummy lollies. I liked ‘Give Me A Home Among The Gum Trees’. I liked cheeky Amelia coming up to me. I liked that lots of Cliftons came. I liked the yummy food. Sophie

Last Thursday I went to the Christmas concert. I enjoyed the song called ‘Home among the gum trees’. I thought that being the narrator for the China item was a good thing to try so that I could get good practice for when I am a Year Six. It was a good concert, I liked the treats at the end of the concert. Oliver

On the Christmas concert night I liked the song ‘Give me a Home Among the Gum Trees’ and ‘I Still Call Australia Home’, it was my favourite. Aunty Jude came, At supper I got candy canes and lollies from Santa. When it was after the concert we ran around the oval and then we went home. Edie

I liked the footy song because I liked the ‘footy on the T.V.’ bit. Harrison

‘Santa is Coming to Town’ song, it’s long. Dad and me were on the oval. By Dalton

My favourite song in the concert was ‘Give me a home among the Gum Trees’, because it was the one Aussie song. Will
