Dear readers, It seems that we are constantly stuck in our routines, auto piloting our way through our weekdays, and then

doing our best to forget about the mundane lives we lead by relaxing and hiding all weekend long.

In doing this it seems we rarely take the time to look around the place we live in with a critical eye. In fact, it

seems to be a rare commodity to see a driver even looking at the road, as their phones take precedence over

safe driving practices.

We at LOYACY decided to revolve this issue around the theme, “I Spy”, where we took a microscopic look at

our surroundings to seek inspiration for articles through our findings. It’s funny what you see when you actively

look at the world instead of walking blindly through life, accepting things for what they appear to be.

When it comes to what we spy, it is equally important to consider what we don’t spy as well, which we touched

on in the article “Con Los Racoristas.” We look at how social media brought rise to nations, artists and downfalls

of presidents.

Traveling can either be a huge tourist trap or a fantastic adventure depending on how you go about it, and

you can definitely spy more than that famous restaurant all your friends have recommended if you branch out.

Often there is more to a person than meets the eye, and in my opinion there is no such thing as a normal

person. Everyone has a story. Sometimes you just have to ask, or read it in Nora’s “Diary of a Yes Girl.”

I spy, through even my cynical and at times pessimistic eye, a world changing. And yes to the better. I had

the opportunity recently to attend The National Youth Project presentations and I was truly inspired. I would

like to send my best wishes and regards to Nourah Al-Hajeri for her efforts and Abdullah Boftain for his beautiful

speech on the closing ceremony.

We can complain about the congested traffic, the work hours and everything in between; but sometimes we

just need to switch up the lens— from negative to positive, and see what happens. If seeing is believing, maybe

all we need to do is see things a little differently, in a different light and we can begin to believe that change

is really possible.

Social Media Revolutions

s the second anniversary of the Egyptian revolution came and went, commentators and journalists worldwide donned their wartime garments and prepared

an arsenal of referential language with which to besiege the eyes and ears of their audiences. Essentialist and monolithic in nature, this language was largely a simulacrum of that used two years prior, when the world was coming to terms with the ousting of former president Mubarak. We see familiar headlines in 2013 – “How an Egyptian Revolution Began on Facebook”, the “Arab Awakening”, even the metaphorical “Spring” refused to escape their lexicon.

In the west, a narrative founded upon the premise of the inherent democracy in social media emerged as protests erupted in Egypt. Yet there is something wrong with history forever recalling the Revolution of January 25 a ‘social media revolution’, whereby the term itself is a western import of reductionist proportions. Their language is revealing insofar as it is examined retrospectively, omitting the assumptions that we (being non-Egyptian commentators) need to experience a revolution we only ‘lived through’ by coincidence of being alive in 2011.

As Charles Trew notes for Al-Ahram, social media narratives are appealing because while on the one hand, they facilitate our own intimate understanding of events, on the other, they are nothing more than extensions of our natural tendency to relate what is foreign, the analytical other, to our own framework of experiences and understanding. The notion that a revolution in a nation as politically and socially significant as Egypt could be enacted through tweets, posts, likes, or shares – actions accessible to most of us to a certain degree – contributes to the illusory conclusion that revolutions are accessible and begin through individuals with self-designed profiles and a limit of 140 characters with which to express themselves. And not, as it has been perennially achieved, through those who possess extraordinary

qualities of patriotism, sacrifice, valor, and humanity. Indeed, the English language has come to associate such descriptions with the noun ‘revolutionary’ for exactly that reason. So, why do we turn a blind eye when revolutionary accountability is privileged to an amorphous labyrinth we call ‘social media’?

A likely answer is that the narrative also fits well with the more encompassing grand narrative of globalization as a necessary aspect of postmodernity. How fitting it is to confer a name upon the Egyptian revolution that sits comfortably in our pre-existing political and social structures. Even in an increasingly globalized world, homogeneity still has a point of departure. Proponents of the homogeneity argument assume there is an equal input of cultures, values, and societies into this allegedly global melting pot (the laughable image of faceless children of different skin tones sitting cross-legged, hand-in-hand, on top of a globe has in fact become part and parcel of the visual imagery associated with the term “globalization”). In that regard, they ignore the state of hegemonic power, its unidirectional flow presupposes an imbalance favoring the hegemon in this so-called melting pot. Thus, while a ‘social media revolution’ would be a heartwarming testament to the merits of technology in the 21st century, the very nature of repressive regimes, or

at least those that induce a collective revolutionary will amongst its people, preclude the plausibility of such a narrative by virtue of their distortion, or at times, complete eradication, of civil society.

In her piece for the politically-oriented American journal Foreign Policy, Sarah Kendzior brilliantly reminds us, “(t)he term “civil society” tends to appeal to Westerners because it is both libertarian, emphasizing a lack of government involvement, and communal, promoting civic duty and concern for one’s fellow man. For democratic states, it is an ideal; for authoritarian states, an illusion”. To be sure, Kendzior was writing specifically regarding the Central Asian dictatorships as the case of near-total elimination of that sector which bridges the gap between government and citizens. Still, her arguments remain poignant in Egypt’s case. Mubarak was not the archetypal autocrat, but, like his central Asian counterparts, he curtailed plenty of civil liberties that are otherwise inalienable in mature democracies. Tweets and shares occur in the realm designated as civil society, so to label any revolution a ‘Twitter” or “Facebook” revolution is to surmise that revolutions stem from civil society. Such an assumption rejects the reality of the matter that the Egyptian revolution was in fact a collective reaction to the corruption of that domain.

In commemorating the revolution of our Egyptian brothers and sisters, we should not have to resort to such cheap headlines. There are scores of Egyptians alive today who have lived through Mubarak, Sadat, Abdel Nasser, and even King Farouk before them, living through at times pharaonic oppression, witnessing their nation continuously evolve and devolve. In their continued devotion to justice, they stood up to their immediate oppressors and fortified a bulwark to hegemony and all its serpentine manifestations. In the end, it is a nasty bit of irony that the same Egyptians besieged by their oppressors, should be, too, by the language of a culture industry so disinterested in their struggle and fate that it has the lazy audacity to condemn their efforts to float listlessly in a vast cyber space.

Grabbing onto Grains of

ou know you’re Lebanese when: you make Turkish coffee before leaving home, arriving

at the office, after lunch, when having guests, before the guests leave, after the guests leave and before going to bed. This was the beginning of a very long list of things that defines you as a Lebanese person. Now think carefully, dear citizen, what defines you as the proud civilian of your country? You know that you have never done these things yourselves. You have long forgotten to recede back to your traditions. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the road to losing our culture.

This could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your upbringing. The generation of my parents and grandparents will swear at you and your damn technology and ‘calmly’ advise you to read some Arabic literature. Others that have grown into this new global culture, such as my brother, will roll their eyes at your Facebook status, mock you in a rather absurd way and drink horribly saturated American coffee.

My grandparents are deeply engrained in their culture; they have somehow managed to get a fair majority of their eleven sons to live on the same land. Land that has a garden, an orchard, a chicken farm and a bee farm, yet still they manage to remain content for generations. It honestly is a nice change from today’s mixed and messed up society. One minute your dad is lecturing you about how boys are evil beings and shouldn’t be thought of until you’re dead. The next minute your grandmother is lecturing you about how it’s better to get married young while you’re still fit rather than older so you can produce just as many kids as she has. What a horrifying idea but still, it is entertaining to watch her scold my father.

Other people, like my strictly feminist sister, refuse to believe this. They believe that culture is part of past, and society needs to live in the present while embracing technology, socialisation and anti-sexism. She believes that women should have a proper education, jobs and should not be tied down to marriage and kids. This sounds great and I agree with this to an extent, but where do babies come from? Women should have the opportunity to live their own lives but women are not made like men. They’re physically weaker, so they can’t exactly do the same hard labour. They’re also, and you may want to take a breath here ladies, more emotional.

Really. They have larger deep limbic system than men so they’re more in touch with their feelings and expressing emotions. But I digress. This is not a men vs. women debate. Nonetheless in my opinion as a female, the world has spun around its axis and around the sun just fine for the past 4.54 billion years or so. Could it possibly be because the world was in perfect harmony with men doing hard labour and women making babies, but what do I know?

Culture is important though. It defines your country, your family and your life. It makes up your common beliefs and traditions, even though it may seem unreasonable and not in our personal best interest. What many people seem to forget is that our cultures have taken years to be perfected and secerned, and only recently have we began to globalise and mix our cultures. For the more futuristic generation, this is like writing a ten paged, single spaced, size ten font essay, that you have spent all week researching for, only to realise the document was closed before it can be saved. Yes, the pain is immense. I’m not saying that this essay is perfect, that it’s gonna get an A*. It still needs editing, probably a modern spell check, but it took time and effort that you no longer have because the deadline is tomorrow. This is much like our culture. Each country has decided to write an essay and suddenly closed all of them, just so they could band together and write one new and entirely different essay that will hopefully scrape the class a decent grade. It’s not perfect, but it’s the best they can do.

Some would then say that there’s more peace in the world today than in the past. I say that’s bull. Have they opened a newspaper recently? The only reason it is somewhat more peaceful is because everyone is too busy sitting on their asses surfing the web. Even dinner is spent texting a person sitting right in front of you! It has gotten so bad that placing all technology in the middle of the table and the first person to grab his or her phone pays for everyone has become a popular game. This is what a game is defined as nowadays. So much for hide and seek. I remember when we had clean parks with colourful walls and working swings instead of abandoned ones. I remember a time when families played games together and no complaints were made. A time where adults sat around drinking real coffee, the bitter kind that they somehow managed to create a tolerance for and managed to breathe in like water. A time where the air was clean, the grass was green and there was no worry about hygiene.

The list went on and on, things that I do, or my parents do, to keep our culture. It ended with reminding me that when we ‘share our problem with our relatives, their most likely response is: Allah Be Yefrejha’. This I can completely relate to, and it consoles me that even though most of my culture is lost, I can still recognise myself in my culture. I love my culture, but its essay has been deleted and I have to move forward. I can still drink the coffee but moving forward means that I can finally admit, “Damn, that coffee is bitter.”

Girles I am that girl.I am that girl who loves too often and too

whole-heartedly, I laugh too loudly (even when the timing is wrong). I say yes even when I know the logical answer is no and I try my best not to think too much about consequences. In my eyes consequences are just a different outcome to a situation, proving to become lessons I needed to learn. Yes I will dance alone, and try to pull those around me onto the dance floor with me, no matter how often they reject me. I will have my fun at any cost because fun is something you can never have too much of in life. I forgive unlimitedly, more than I should. The way I see it, people have forgiven me and given me second chances— sometimes thirds, and in my parent’s cases, an unlimited supply. I will be the one with different

color socks on because I was too late to find matching ones. Still, having cold feet as an alternative? Ain’t nobody got time for that! My purse is a dark hole; enter at your own risk. But, if you need any sort of charger, an extra tee-shirt, a passport, a Bose player, different currencies, a spare cell phone, notes for college algebra, a makeup bag, or Splenda, reach in and you shall find all of the above. I do too much every day in my life, but in my mind it is never enough. I am the girl who has entrance and exit stamps from the airport in the same day, because why not? I obtain an insatiable passion for life, one in which will either backfire and lead me to become a prime example of spontaneity gone wrong, or propel me into the universe as an inspiring individual. I hope for the latter.

I am a fighter in all that I do. If the door closes in my face and the window is locked, I will pull out a chainsaw from my cluttered purse and I will come through that wall with a vengeance. Tell me no, and you will a storm brewing in my eyes as fervently as Hurricane Katrina because the word ‘no’ is just not something I believe in. I believe that you should fight for love, for peace, for what you believe in and for what you are against. Fight as desperately as you gasp for air when you recover from being thrown under violent waves in the ocean. This, readers, is what I am getting at— Perseverance. Passion. Drive. Ambition. Sacrifice. Throw away your fears, and watch how you fly. Believe in yourself more than you believe in anyone else in the world and you will find that you will in most cases pleasantly surprise yourself and others around you. I am nowhere near

perfect. My car is my closet as I nomad my way through this life, my friends always tell me I need a schedule that I actually stick to, and some have told me I am a poster child for an early death, while others say just the opposite— That I will live longer than all of them. I do not know any certainties in this life, except that I must enjoy it without the fear of failure, rejection, the word no, or the idea that I cannot. I will not let anyone dictate the way I will lead my life, and I invite you reader to have the courage to do the same. I invite you to read a few stories I would like to share about my life each month which have taught me to believe in myself even when others may have doubted me. Some will be simple acts of rebellion while others will be genuine reactions to what my heart beckoned me to do.

Dragon Street, Gangstas and Learning to Survive

My first celebratory tale is in an emotional one, so brace yourself. Today, as I drove to work, I made it all the way without hitting even one red light! Success! OK just kidding, although it did really pump me up for work.

So, here is the real story.

This one time… I decided to throw a party.The only problem is, it was my aunt’s house that I was living with in California, and I was 18 years old. She was going away for the weekend and told me not to have anyone over. Naturally, I said “Of course not,” as I was texting my friends the invites.

My family was headed to Glamous Sand Dunes, a five-hour drive from our house. Let’s just say that the day after one of the two parties I was having, the gardener who was my age was outside as I was cleaning up. To be cordial I invited him to the get together I was having that evening. What I didn’t realize was that he was freakishly obsessed with my uncle and he decided to call him and inform him of my shenanigan. While I was putting out the beverages and chips in preparation, my uncle and five of his huge construction workers were putting the pedal to the metal to get home in time to catch me red handed. Keep in mind, the five hour drive became ten as they had arrived to the destination and turned right back around.

You can imagine the horror on my face when the doors burst open and I was greeted with my uncle giving me the boot. I will never forget his bear roar of “Get your $#!t and get out of my house! I don’t care where you go.”

Well, this was quite the predicament I had gotten myself into. I didn’t have a car or a license, I had a job, which I had to get to everyday, and now I didn’t have a house. I grabbed all my belongings and did the walk of shame up and down the hallway from my closet to my “friend’s” creepy white child molester looking van.

When I say “friend’s”, lets just say that I was preparing myself to trust a few fellow mall employees to assist me that evening. One of which was on house arrest and shouldn’t have been out in the first place, the other had a felony for selling illegal weapons, and the other was just a simpleton who couldn’t get a job anywhere else but the mall due to lack of motivation. Keep in mind, they were all old enough to be college graduates, and I was 18.

This group of delinquents offered me a room to share with a girl named Caryne until I found somewhere to go, so long as I cooked them dinner, cleaned the house, and kept the water dispenser full of “purple Kool-Aid”. Are you catching my drift?

I know what you might be thinking, but when push comes to shove and you are far too embarrassed to admit that you need help from your parents, you do the first thing that comes to mind. Move in with Gangstas on Dragon Street. Obviously.

I knew that this had to end as quickly as possible as my credit card, brand new camera and a few clothes went missing by the second day. The credit card was found in my windowsill outside the next day oddly enough, so thank god for passwords. I made about 2,000$ a month at my job, so I agreed to pay 500$ rent to the neighbor girls Sophia, where I could lock my door and sleep semi-comfortably with both eyes closed at night.

From the house, I would pack a bag full of clothes and makeup, jog to the bus stop, which was a mile away, arrive to work an hour early where I would go into the mall bathroom and get ready for work, switching out my Nikes for heels. After an eight-hour shift, I would get back on the bus with a few toothless public-transport martyrs, most who looked like they had the black plague and smelled like they had run through the set of Slum Dog Millionaire a few times.

I would return “home” and go hang out with the neighbors because quite frankly, I had no one else in my life at the time. This taught me that just about anyone could become like family when times got tough, and that loneliness is an emotion we humans will do just about anything to avoid experiencing. I discovered at a young age that home was not just a place you lived. That is what a house is. Home is where you feel loved and appreciated.

My second lessons on Dragon Street were to believe in everyone and try to see the good in them (even if it is from a safe distance) and that Gangstas had soft hearts too. There was one specific boy that I had a strange attachment to. He was a friends little cousin, Jonathon, who went by J-Dub, a member of the local “Four Five” gang.

There were numerous nights on the curb that we used to talk about life and our dreams. I told him I wanted to be a writer since I was young and that selling cell phones was definitely not where I wanted to remain forever. He told me that ever since his mom went to prison, he needed a family and Four Five were the only people he felt he could rely on. His dream was to be a rapper or a pro-skateboarder. He used to be sponsored because he was so good at skateboarding, but he let that go for his gang priorities. I know he had a good heart, but his dream was ripped away when a gunshot took an almost fatal turn and he was the one on the scene. J-Dub went to jail for a crime he didn’t commit, and the first person he wrote a letter to from jail, was me. It read that I was the most inspiring and trustworthy person that he had ever met, and that when he stole my credit card (so that was the culprit), he felt so guilty that he put it back. Why did he feel guilty? Because had he asked me for anything, he knows I would have done anything in my power to get it to him, because that was what family did. He told me I was as close to family as any

family he had, and that he would never forget me.

I eventually moved away from Dragon Street in California, and ventured forward in the world with a bright and eventful future ahead of me. At the time, this was all I knew. Dragon Street taught me how to survive and how to fight. How to literally stand on your own two feet and run to your responsibilities. It taught me to love and be loved by the people of the world, regardless of their track records. It taught me not to judge others because their pasts have a lot to tell about where they are in life in the present. It also taught me that if I didn’t take control of my life, I would always just be on Dragon Street and working at the mall. The past does not define you unless you let it. It was up to me to change the path my life was on, and I did just that. Ever since this strange but memorable time in my life, that is still a moral embedded in me.

Just as a side note. I became the writer. J-Dub got out of jail, and is now working on his music, switching the gang life of the Four Fivers for the lyrical and musical gang “Self-Made Millionaires”. Who knows if he will make it to the big leagues, or if I will with my writing, but the good thing? We survived Dragon Street’s fiery breath, and we fought threw our battles and our self-inflicted prisons. We made it out on top because when one path didn’t make us happy, we chartered a new trail. Thanks Dragon Street. I will never forget you.

Hope:A new oasis

ost of us know the myth of Pandora’s Box. Angered by Prometheus, Zeus took revenge by bestowing Pandora a container -a box -with orders not to open it. Compelled by her curiosity, Pandora opened it, and all wicked contained in it escaped. She rushed to shut the box, but everything had escaped, except for one thing: the Spirit of Hope.

Kuwait, in some respects, is a desert. But even in a desert oases can spring up. And in my opinion, one oasis is H.O.P.E. .

H.O.P.E. stands for: “Helping Organizations and People Everywhere”. Founded at the end of last year, H.O.P.E. is a youth driven and organized operation that ‘embraces communal contribution’, and ‘intends to generate an independent principle

of respect and responsibility towards Kuwait, its inhabitants, and its environment.’ However, this youth organization is more than just important-sounding talk; which is less common than you’d think. H.O.P.E. has already physically progressed with fulfilling its aims. For instance:

Last month, a group of friends and I were planning a barbeque on a beach for a day out on the weekend. As we were discussing which beach to use, we strayed far away from the option of using a free public beach. As one of my friends put it, “You get what you pay for.” No one wants their beach experience littered with garbage and waste. H.O.P.E., with one of its aims to improve the Kuwait environment, gathered its members and set out to clear the beach, in an effort to keep Kuwait’s beaches clean. Not only did the

operation have a short term success, but long term as well; the H.O.P.E. team met with a representative of KNPC to begin a mutual effort to keep the beaches safe.

Aside from rebuilding the environment, H.O.P.E. also takes care of Kuwait’s inhabitants. The furry ones. Each week, the majority of the H.O.P.E. team takes a bus and head down to the local animal shelter, K’s Path, and volunteer to help clean, groom, and walk the animals that include dogs, cats, horses, and others. H.O.P.E. believes in being responsible for the wellbeing of these animals, as they are included in Kuwait’s inhabitants category. K’s Path shares the belief that these animals should be cared for as well.

H.O.P.E. is composed of 5 founders and over 80 members with very different backgrounds. As with

any organization, the team’s dream is what dictates what should be done. The founders believe it is more effective to take action now rather than wait for perfectly ideal conditions. As youth, we often have the time and energy, so why not make use of it?

It’s great and moving to see people as young as myself taking the initiative to organize events that both reflect on their morals and benefit Kuwait as well as themselves. In a desert where consumerism runs rampant, a result is that productivity is harder to find but treasured, especially when it comes with innovation from youth. Setting up an organization is definitely a worthy experience. For the youth, where most of our time is usually spent in classrooms, putting our education and beliefs out in the real world tests our resolve and passion and in turn educates us. Additionally, not only is it beneficial to the youth, but also to society.

Compared to other nations, Kuwait’s general attitude to youth organizations is dim. Looked upon at an arm’s length with skepticism, “What can the youth do?” they ask. Slowly this is changing. H.O.P.E. has become a beacon of hope to the youth and elders alike, showing that our age differences are not

enough to distract us from our common goals and passions. For example, the simple desire to restore Kuwait’s beaches back to their natural beauty. Kudos to H.O.P.E. for putting the theory into practice!

Kudos to adult run organizations that empower and help develop the youth. They have the Spirit of Hope entwined within them. They enable us youngsters who wish to do so much but often do not know exactly where to start. They provide us with a place and opportunity to volunteer, help find internships, and teach us skills through activates that help youth such as the founders of H.O.P.E. make the launch and management of their organization easier.

Kuwait, as a country, has an abundance of wealth. Perhaps that is why it is easier to have a consumerist lifestyle. However, now the youth need to seize the opportunities offered to them by various organizations, or even venture out to carve one out for themselves. Passion for what you want to do, be it a passion for business, a passion for learning, or a passion for community service more than compensates for our young age. An example is Bill Gates, who started programming at 13. I’m not saying we’re all Bill Gates. However, as Mother Theresa says, “We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love.” We don’t have to set out to build the biggest software company in the world; starting a software club at your educational institute is just as rewarding, providing you are passionate about it.

The definition of hope is “To expect with confidence.” I expect with confidence that in a desert of disbelief of youth power, more oases of hope will flourish, like the tale of Pandora’s Box. I hope that in the future, youth are more skilled, have more of an impact on Kuwaiti society, and filled with hope for a more productive future.M

ither they fuel your adrenaline rush or they fuel your road rage, but there is no doubt about it…motorcycles play a part in almost all of our lives.

If you are a rider, you mount your motorcycle in suave style, gelled hair slicked back, crisp pair of jeans on and ray bans that reflect Gulf Road in all its glory. You may feel unstoppable as you pop-a-wheelie down it at atrocious speeds, or maybe you prefer to gear up and take the safer route with a helmet, gloves and riding gear.

If you are in a vehicle, you are either enjoying the chase from these bad-boys, or you are trying with all your might to avoid them and get away from them in fear that they will crash into you or those around you.

Yes, we can all agree that there is a problem, both for the riders and the rest of the population on the roads. So why then is nothing being done about it?

Fahad Al-Owaish, one of members of the Kuwait Super Bike Team, owner of Biker Zone and one of the biggest advocates of safety while racing has a solution that is constantly being ignored, and his frustrations were apparent as he passionately told me his story.

“It all started with a group of about 20 guys who had Ducati’s and we came up with the Kuwait Ducati Club. I was the Vice President of the club. We revolved around safety and always played by the rules We wore full safety gear and got the idea to go to the tracks,” said Fahad. What tracks, you wonder? —Definitely not the non-existent ones in Kuwait. They packed up their bikes onto trailers and hit the road to Bahrain. Each trip costs around 300-400KD, so the hobby is clearly not a cheap one if one wants to race on an actual safety track. This diminished the group from 20, down to the very serious five.

Recently, even the five dwindled down to two, Fahad and Hamed Al-Dashti who ventured further from racing, to attending the California Super Bikes School, which originated in London. The school moves around, teaching riders proper racing skills and safety precautions on the track and with gear. Fahad and his crew switched to track racing, not only to represent Kuwait, but also to take a stand against road hazards in Kuwait. They believe that a controlled environment in Kuwait would prevent many deaths and accidents on the roads, and promote a more

positive attitude towards the sport as a whole.

Many people do not realize that bikers are more than just gelled hair and high-speeds. There are at least 30 world champion racers in Kuwait, proving that Kuwaitis contribute to motorsports just as much as watersports. There are a lot of riders who take it very seriously and are so passionate that they cannot leave their bikes to collect dust, forcing them to take it to the streets, endangering themselves and other drivers, even if this is not their intention.

“ I am thirty now so this is not going to be a career for me anymore. What I am aiming for now is to race for at least five more years, but equally importantly I want to encourage more to push for a safe platform for these racers to do what they do best. I want the 20 year olds to learn what they need to do to be safe, not just to look cool,” says Fahad. Indeed it isn’t cool that an average of one person dies a day due to racing in an uncontrolled environment.

Fahad has been racing from his own income because no one wants to sponsor him or his cause. He says companies deem racing a dangerous sport, and should anyone fall off and get hurt it will reflect negatively on the company. “To them I say, isn’t falling off a horse and breaking your neck just as dangerous? That is why there are controlled areas with specialists who train the sportsman how to ride with caution, and typically medics are nearby,” Fahad said.

Qatar has a national team and they are sponsored at races. If they fall, a specialist repairs their bikes and helps them back up. There is a 70% chance a racer will fall off their bikes. What happens when Kuwaiti’s fall? I’m sorry, what happens to Kuwaiti’s who drove eight hours just to race, fall? They get up and repair their bikes themselves. Even without financial aid or assistance on the track, Fahad managed to come in ninth out of 50 participants in the race. Imagine what Kuwaiti’s could really do, if they had the chance and the training?

The Kuwait Super Bike Team have received an invitation for the Asian Cup in Malaysia but cannot attend due to lack of funding. They will however attend the race in Qatar in March where they hope to own the tracks and the championship.

“If it wasn’t for my gear and my training, I would have died in several accidents I had, and I know many who already have. How long are we going to let this go on?” asked Fahad.

Owaish didn’t use his interview time to brag about his accomplishments; rather he gave me his background and spent the remainder of the time pleading for understanding on this huge issue in Kuwait. He was angry that since there is clearly not a lack of funding for such a project, while there is also a high demand for the sport accompanied by lots of local talent, that there is nothing being done about it. DOHA Romanian-born Sudanese political cartoonist Khalid Albaih considers himself a virtual revolutionist. Son of a diplomat and nephew of a former president of Sudan, Albaih who publishes political cartoons related to happenings in the Arab world on various blogs and websites, thinks social media has been a great help in showcasing his work. Pointing out that one of his works made it to the Tahrir Square in Egypt at the beginning of the Arab Spring, he said it gave his career a great boost. The 32-year old, Doha-based cartoonist shares his inspirations and experiences with Qatar Tribune.

Tell us more about your work, and what made you choose social media over old media? I am a political cartoonist and my work is related to current affairs. Sudan, Egypt, Somalia, Tunisia and African affairs in general are of special concern to me. I don’t publish in any local or international newspaper because I have faced a lot of rejection. When I started, which was around the same time as Arab Spring, I decided to have my own Arab spring and display it on the Internet. That is how I started putting my cartoons on my website, Facebook page and Twitter. International news establishments including The

Atlantic and New York Times and organizations like African Institute picked my work. I also got invited to a lot of cartoonist conventions and political forums.

How did rejection contribute to your growth? Due to rejection, I began to explore the Internet. That’s how I started to have my own thing. The highlight of my career was when one of my works was graffitied in Tahrir Square at the beginning of the revolution. I felt like I was delivering to the people. That was a high point of my career because as part of the community, we are fighting for the same cause. A lot of rejection that I faced was because of the style of my cartoons. I faced a lot of rejection because my work does not look cartoonish, it is more of graphic design. It’s just the old mindset that I tried to push out or break.

I understand you have about 35,000 followers on Facebook and four thousand on Twitter.

What are their reactions when you post your work? I get many reactions.

Some retweet. The good thing is that I don’t have a middleman, an editor, and fans talk to me directly. If I misunderstand something, they will say so. I come from a political family. My father was a diplomat. He was Sudan’s Ambassador to Romania. My uncle Abdulrahman Swar al Dahab was the president of Sudan during the transitional period. I grew up listening to politics. When we came to Qatar, every Wednesday my father bought Egyptian cartoon- based magazines from the nearby supermarket. My love for cartoons grew and I started exploring works of various cartoonists from places like Egypt, Syria as well as the rest of Africa. But I never thought of it as a professional career.

I began drawing faces of my teachers when I was in school. I even got suspended for it. I also drew cartoons during my university years. I studied graphic arts at a university in United Arab Emirates.

How did you land in Qatar? After leaving Romania we went back to Sudan. Then we had to leave Sudan due to political upheavals. Like many other Sudanese, my father was laid off. We came to Qatar for the first time in 1988 and ever since this has been my home.

How do you describe your experience of living in Qatar? For me living here all my life, I wish my home country, Sudan was like Qatar politically, culturally and in many other spheres. I love what they are doing and I am involved in it. A country like Qatar does not need criticism, it needs support. I don’t know where I would have been if Qatar did not offer a home for us.

Do you think your work helps bring a positive change in the society? I think it does, because it helps people to engage in a dialogue. I try to make my work very simple. My work is in social media and I try to grab attention in the first 40 seconds. I use 140 words to get the person glued to my work. I also like keeping my work simple because I remember when I was in Sudan in my earlier years, the president would talk for hours without saying anything new.

People get bored.

Have you ever showcased your work in any exhibition? I have participated in a lot of collective exhibitions. I

also did a lot of exhibitions during my university years.

My big boost came after I became part of political cartoonists’ community. I had collective shows in Italy and Egypt. I had a solo exhibition at the Katara Art Center fromDecember 9, 2012 to January 12, this year.

Your solo exhibition at Katara Art Center that concluded recently was themed, ‘The Worst Calamity Makes One laugh,’ How did you come up with that title? There are a lot of things happening out there and there is nothing I can do personally.

The best thing I can do is trying to make people have a dialogue about the situation through my art. Even though, I might not solve anything, but at least other people will think, talk and have dialogue.

Has any of your work been published in the old media? Yes, it has been published in newspapers in Egypt, Germany and Brazil. Most of my work is under Creative Commons Licence where one can use my work but with attribution. I work a lot with Creative Commons community, which is an advocate for free, media and standardized content online. We put a lot of Arabic content as well.

Who is your role model? I love the late Palestinian cartoonist Naji al Ali who was assassinated in 1987. He used to work with the poet Ahmad Matar. They still inspire me.

What is your advice to those who would love to follow in your footsteps? My advice is that they should go ahead and do whatever they want to do.

You have the Internet. This is a freedom that nobody had years ago. Now you can do anything. You can have a blog, Twitter account, Facebook account, which nobody can take from you. What you need to do is to put it online.

“She reathes and lives art, and if it’s edible she would eat it...”, this is how Claudia’s art teacher described her.

Claudia Mousa is only 16 years old but has grasped the depth of many technical concepts of art and be-ing an artist. She managed to pick up drawing as a child from her grandfather. When in the attempt to teach her things by drawing them out and she immediately and every since became captivated and attached. Five years would pass before she be-gan to draw more frequently and more seriously.

As they emphasized it more in school and with all the spare time she had at that age she spoke of how she started discovering her love for art again. “My parents really really encouraged me” she said, emphasizing that her mother is probably her biggest fan— trea-suring every piece she works on. She went on to say, “She’s always superbly excited when I start a project!”

Her interest in art doesn’t stop at just sketches and acrylic, even though she prefers them at times. She spoke of her favorite artists, Andrew Myers, who

while experimenting with his art decided to create a piece by combining painting with sculptures. The combination of drilling screws on wood placed in different depths creates an almost 3-Dimensional painting. It’s a very simple idea but the process and the composition is amazing. She mentioned that in one of his pieces seen here under the name of “Fad-ing Thoughts”, Myers used more 100,000 screws.

She is working currently on her personal proj-ect, which she is basing on Andrew Myers’ style. She is trying to work on something aimed to-wards animal abuse awareness. She will be trying to implement Myers’ style on the fac-es of animals as opposed to portraits of people.

Although her fascination for art is huge, she has an-other fascination and that is biology. She wants to go into medicine and will unfortunately leaving art behind for a little bit. It is also why she is current-ly trying so hard to make something truly unique. I’ll leave you now with some of her favorite pieces.

"Why" Not?

I only know the word ‘patio’ in Singhalese, which means dear. I only know that because I married a Sri Lankan girl recently. Yes as I get older, the wives get younger. She, well now we, have an eight year old child,” Keith said with a sly wink and chuckle to match. “Sri Lanka is a place I intend on spending the rest of my days

in. Do you blame me?” asked Keith. He was the grey -haired, kind- hearted British accountant in charge of the finances for Why House Hotel in Sri Lanka. He was a man who seemed to have come to Sri Lanka for work, but ended up staying for tranquility and love.

With all the hustle and bustle of daily life, and all the commotion that Liberation Day would bring, I knew I needed to get out of Kuwait’s claustrophobic atmosphere and just be in open air with beautiful people and scenery to occupy my field of vision. You know those last minute trips with zero planning done? Being en route to destination unknown, to most sounds like a nightmare. Walking to the beat

of my own drum as per usual, those are the trips I find myself coming back with more to show for the place I visited than some tan lines and a bag of souvenirs. The unknown is the most exciting part.

Choosing my top three favorite boutique hotels two days before take-off resulted in disappointment. None of them had availability, so I went off on the lookout for some touristy hot-spot hotel out of force. Then as if by miracle, my first choice, Why House, in Galle, Sri Lanka, called me back. They hadn’t had any openings for months, and none for months to come, but someone had cancelled and they had one of their eight rooms available to me

the exact days I needed. Bingo. It was settled.

Aside from looking at a few pictures online and trying to find a place to put my new hiking boots to the test, I had no idea what was in store for my visit. When I got to the airport I was greeted with a bill of $35. Just in case you were wondering, as Kuwaitis we need visas to get into Sri Lanka. That would have been something I should have checked on before flying… Note taken. I immediately began to boil over with excitement and wonder as I headed to a taxi in the capital of Colombo and asked how long it would take to get to Galle.

Three hours of beautiful countryside later (yes, 116 km on roads without highways takes longer than one would imagine) I arrived at Why House. I was greeted by both the palate pleasing beverage of fresh ginger-lime soda and the aesthetically pleasing view of all this stunning country had to offer. Rows of tropical trees and flowers grew around a salt water pool that overlooked a tea plantation just below the Italian designed estate. I could tell I would have to forcefully remove myself from this place so I could do some site-seeing(as if this glorious view wasn’t enough). The lovely host of Why House, Hen, advised me against leaving Galle, but my heart was set on the white water rafting in Kandy and the 7 hour night pilgrimage to the top of Adam’s Peak to see the sunrise, so whatever I planned to do in Galle was going to happen over the course of two and a half days.

I unwound over a tray of peppered pineapple with lime and began to plan my four full days in Sri Lanka. I couldn’t help but notice that it wasn’t

just the free time or the fresh air that was calming me in this place. It was also the release from the burning eyes of judgment and scrutiny that I feel is placed on me so often in Kuwait, whether it is from society, family or my own self. Living in Kuwait can often make individuals feel suppressed, and because of this we lose a lot of talent, individuality and creativity that comes with a free soul. For my next few days, I decided to be a complete free spirit and capitalize on the islands charm and mystery.

In the first two and a half days, I managed to find my inner Californian and take to the waves for a few hours of surfing. Afterwards I enjoyed fish that I presume literally just came out of the water in time to jump on the grill and onto my plate. I visited a turtle hatchery where the employees rescue turtle eggs and injured sea turtles until they are ready for release or re-release in the wild. In the evening a walk around Galle Fort, a historical site to the town, was the perfect way to unwind from the day. I experienced my very first dive where I saw coral and tropical fish galore, then returned to the dive-center turned disco by night for an evening with the locals. My personal yoga session was the perfect anecdote for the repercussions of my long night out and continued on a 35 kilometer bike ride through a village and past a tea plantation. Finally, I woke up at 5am to head towards Kandy to complete my list of desires with the last two days I had remaining. This was roughly the time I messaged my boss to tell her I was in Sri Lanka, to which she was completely shocked but at the same time not surprised at all. I think she thinks I need my own version of “Where’s Waldo” for my life. It seems that no one ever knows

just where I might be, and this is just the way I like it.

Arriving at the location for white water rafting 4 hours later turned out to be an amazing wakeup call as the river water was much colder and refreshing than the sea water in Galle. This was a must-do as many locals came out to participate as well and they, being regulars, were very daring as they tried to push each other off of their rafts mid rapid. It was the one thing that kept you laughing before you plummeted to your watery death, with a shocking 25% chance of capsizing. After drying off, it was time to head for Adam’s Peak to check in the tiny nook and cranny of a hotel. It was located at the start of the hike, where we were advised to meet at 2am, prepared with snacks and a jacket.

Adam’s Peak, also known as “The Foot of Adam” or the local “Sri Pada”, is a 7,360 ft. mountain identified by Buddhists as the Buddha’s footprint, by Hindus as that of Shiva and by Muslims as Adam’s. Later the Portuguese attributed it to St. Thomas the Apostle. The mountain was sacred to three religions, and what I got to witness was members of each religion taking part in a physically tiring pilgrimage, side-by-side, with the same determined intent, with

the difference between them being their God and their age. There were pilgrims as young as infants in their mother’s arms, and grandparents with ailments in their children’s arms, all relentlessly pushing up the 5,000 steps to get to top to see the temple and the most rewarding sunrise in all of Asia at the top. See for yourself why I spent seven hours (almost entirely in the dark) to see this for myself, and why I couldn’t walk for a week after. I had a flight to catch and a five hour taxi ahead of me to the airport, so I sprinted down those 5,000 steps as fast as my shaking legs would take me. I didn’t waste a spare second to be able to snap some gorgeous photos to show you readers.

Sri Lanka surpassed my wildest dreams, and clearly my nonexistent plans, and it is a place I recommend and definitely intend to return to. A place where three major religions can live in harmony, the sea meets the mountains and jungle and the seafood is the perfect meal to keep you energized yet light while you tour the country. The best part of my dive and my trip, while remaining the scariest part, was the unknown. Still, when you face the unknown, you walk away from it feeling like you conquered it, and you just might find yourself asking, “What next?” and stating more often than not, “Why not?”

What breaks my heart, and leads me to shed yet another batch of tears out of personal frustration and worry for humanity, is why not Kuwait? Why did I feel so much more comfortable, alive and at home in a place that most definitely wasn’t home, and why does our society seem to drive people away at any chance they get? Will Kuwait ever truly feel like home to the people like me? The people who seek unconditional acceptance and adventure? Or are we simply destined to float on, searching for meaning at the tallest peaks and the deepest oceans?

Shea Seger - ClutchThis song somehow manages never to get old, and I have been listening to it for more than two months now. The beat is good for either chilling while playing cards, or bumping on a boat, or at a barbeque. It is one of those “one size fits all” songs. It gets you to sing along and shake your head to the beat. The more times you listen to it the better it gets, and suddenly you will find it being one of those songs you listen to on the way to work every day.

Sleepy Head - Passion PitI love this track for two distinct reasons; its new age beat and old school video game tune. It gives you a feeling of a good old times that have passed as you reminisce on the nostalgic feeling of your childhood while bumping to this beat. It’s a must have whether you’re driving alone or with a group of friends. Highly recommend it.

Yes, I know. It is explicit. In fact and it is produced by a member of the LGBT community, but you wouldn’t know that from the insane bass line and the ridiculous rhymes a guy and girl duo pop off. The lyrics actually relate to history, when “reading” someone actually meant beating them up, and it ties into Black History as well. I’ll leave the research up to you, but for now hop on your laptop and listen to this banger. Don’t judge me. Now you are curious, huh?

Childish Gambino - Do Ya LikeNow I don’t normally like these kinds of tracks, it’s usually Nora’s thing. Surprisingly her “taste” in music is finally starting to rub off onto me, which made this track to ignore. The mix between Adele and his beat are hard not to jam to. It’s a feel good song disguised in an Adele chorus peppered with a hip-hop beat. So give it a spin.

Asaf Avidan Ft. Mojos-One dayBesides the fact that the song title managed to take a couple of lines and that it’s about 8 minutes long, you shouldn’t get discouraged. Yes, it’s one of those songs that are basically a repetitive chorus with a beat but don’t be quick to judge. This track is gold. The beat is beyond sick and Wankelmut did a phenomenal job remixing this track. It just makes you want to blast it, go out, set your self free, do something random and go with the flow. So next time you’re bored just blast this track, close your eyes, enjoy the beat and see what comes up…

Chan Chan - OrishasChan Chan – Orishas: I straight up feel like I am on the set of “Havana Nights” when I bump this one. You will start to swing your hips and shake your shoulders when this comes on, and it has a tendency to make you feel sexy and smooth. I don’t care if you don’t know how to dance to it, I just guarantee that you will try, and you will most likely grab someone near you and try to make ‘em do the same. Again, a great song for any occasion— gathering or pool party is a good place to re-debut this song, as it isn’t new and most people remember it.

Soko - I Kill herYes. Yes I have blasted this song in Mi7sen’s car and recited every word... with dance moves. So? Who cares? I bet you will too. It is such a chill song, and her cute British accent tricks you into thinking that if you say it with a British accent you too will sound adorable singing about killing someone. It takes a few seconds for the remixed beat to kick in, but I think that is what really makes this song and separates it from its original version.

Macklemore - Thrift Shop Macklemore – Thrift Shop: This is the song you wish you wrote. It’s so simple. While in most tracks they’re boasting about cars, mansions and beautiful women all decked up in the hottest most expensive brands, this track decides to go with the economy except it hits big! The video is so insanely random it’s perfect. Macklemore really steps it up by taking it back in time, style, and budget. A must listen and a must see. Word of advice dress tacky, get a 20-dollar bill and have a good time!

Flight Facilities - Foreign LanguagesI love these guys because we talked about them in our last music review. This is one you can play in front of the “homies”, the parents and the kids. Almost everyone will love it and will find themselves shaking their booties to the groovy tunes of Flight Facilities. It is a feel-good song and it will leave you with a smile every time. They are similar in style to Sneaky Sound System in that you can’t quite put your finger on whether they are new or old.

مـــشـــيـــرة الـــــى أن الـــقـــطـــعـــة األغــــلــــى ثــمــنــا كانت ألخــت شــاه ايـــران السابق «أشــرف

بهلوي» ونقش عليها التاج امللكي.

طابع خاصواستعرض د. عباس خامة يار نبذة عن الفن القديم التقليدي الذي اشتهرت بـــه ايــــــران فـــي حــيــاكــة الـــســـجـــاد األجــمــل الفن طابع خاص لهذا وقــال: العالم في العالم ايــران عن مختلف دول به تتميز الطبيعية الــنــقــوش واأللـــــــوان فـــي رســــم املستخرجة من األعشاب وقشور الفواكه اضــافــة تتغير ال ثــابــتــة تجعلها والــتــي الـــى مــاليــني الــعــقــود (الــخــيــوط) املــحــاكــة بــالــســجــادة مــمــا يــعــطــي لــلــســجــاد جــودة عــالــيــة، الفــتــا الـــى أن كـــل مــديــنــة بــايــران بــنــوع ســجــاد خـــاص يحمل اســم تتميز املــديــنــة يــعــكــس الــحــس الــفــنــي والــتــراثــي الــكــشــانــي والــســجــاد كــالــســجــاد للمدينة

التبريزي واألصفهاني.

بناء مصنع للسجاد لمساعدة األسر الفقيرة

اســــتــــمــــرارا ملـــســـيـــرة «لـــــويـــــاك» فــي التطوعية، ارسلت مجموعة اعمالها مــــن الــطــلــبــة املـــتـــطـــوعـــني الـــــى كــيــنــيــا التطوعي املــشــروع مــســيــرة ليكملوا «K4K» كــويــت ألجـــل كــيــنــيــا، وحــقــق املــــشــــروع نـــجـــاحـــا كـــبـــيـــرا عـــلـــى مــــدار االعــــــوام الــســابــقــة وبـــــدأ الــتــركــيــز في تحقق مشاريع على األخــيــرة الفترة دخـــــال لـــعـــدد مــــن االســــــــر، حـــيـــث كـــان الــــتــــركــــيــــز فـــــي الـــــعـــــام املـــــاضـــــي عــلــى مشاريع حيوانية وزراعية حيث قام اعضاء اللجنة باستصالح 6000 متر مربع للزراعة وبناء 3 مزارع للدجاج واالغــنــام وزراعــة ما يقارب من 4000 متر مربع خضروات واشجار ووضع والـــــعـــــائـــــدات املــــــــــــزارع الدارة خــــطــــة املــحــقــقــة، وقــــد وضــــع مــتــطــوعــو هــذا الــعــام اهـــدافـــا صــنــاعــيــة وحــقــقــوا في

رحلتهم االهداف املوضوعة.

ورشة عملوإللقاء املزيد من الضوء على هذا اإلنـــجـــاز تــحــدث عــــدد مـــن املــشــاركــني فــي املــشــروع حــيــث قـــال قــائــد الفريق مهمتنا كــانــت املــيــاس: املحسن عبد هــذا الــعــام بناء ورشــة عمل لصناعة الــســجــاد الــصــغــيــر فــي قــريــة صغيرة تسمى ماجينغو – كينيا، كان لدينا 21 يــومــا إلكـــمـــال املــهــمــة ضــمــن هــذه فريق لكن القصيرة، الزمنية الفترة K4K استطاع ان يؤدي املهمة وأكمل الــبــنــاء فـــي مـــا يـــقـــارب مـــن اســبــوعــني فــــقــــط، عــمــلــنــا جـــنـــبـــا إلــــــى جـــنـــب مــع أفــــراد الــقــريــة، واضــــاف املـــيـــاس: على الـــرغـــم مـــن الــتــحــديــات والــصــعــوبــات التى واجهتنا شعرنا بسعادة بالغة ملساهمتنا في مساعدة ضحايا الفقر بدأنا الــتــى الصغيرة الــخــطــوات وان بـــهـــا فــــي بـــعـــض املــجــتــمــعــات حــقــقــت

تــغــيــيــرا كــبــيــرا فــي حــيــاة الــعــديــد من االسر حيث استفادت 25 اسرة بعائد شهري اضافة الى توفير فرص عمل لــعــدد مـــن االفــــــراد، وهــــذا كـــان هدفنا االساسي وهو بناء مشاريع لتوفير املستديمة التنمية أشــكــال مــن شكل املــطــلــوبــة لــتــطــويــر املــجــتــمــع. وشــكــر املياس أعضاء الفريق خالد القبندي ونورة الهاجري ومشاري الطبطبائي وفيصل الهاجري ملا بذلوه من جهد، وشــكــر أيــضــا األشـــخـــاص املــتــبــرعــني الــذيــن لــوالهــم مــا كانت لهذه الرحلة

ان تتم.

مصنع آليومـــــــــن جـــــانـــــبـــــه اوضـــــــــــح مـــــشـــــاري الــطــبــطــبــائــي أن دخـــــل االســــــر هــنــاك ضعيف جدا ومستوى املعيشة رديء، فكان هدفنا تقديم شــيء يساهم في تحسني مستوى معيشتها، فوجدنا الهند جــوز قشور يستخدمون انهم فـــــي صـــنـــاعـــة الــــســــجــــاد يــــــدويــــــا، مــن هــنــا جـــــاءت الــفــكــرة بــانــشــاء مصنع آلــــي بــــدال مـــن الــعــمــل الـــيـــدوي فقمنا ببناء مصنع (X 16 8 مترا) ووفرنا لــزيــادة اليها يحتاجون الــتــى اآلالت االنتاجية والدخل، ومن مميزات هذا عمل فرصة اعطى انــه ايضا املشغل

للنساء بسبب تفشي البطالة بينهن أو االكتفاء ببعض األعمال البسيطة

التي ال تدر عائدا يذكر. الــتــجــربــة أن الـــطـــبـــطـــبـــائـــي وأكــــــد الى نــظــرا البداية فــي كانت صعبة الفقر املتفشي، وسرعة تبدل الطقس فـــاحـــيـــانـــا شـــمـــس حــــارقــــة واحـــيـــانـــا امــــــطــــــار غــــــزيــــــرة، وبــــــرغــــــم كــــــل هــــذا تعلمت حــيــث ممتعة تــجــربــة كــانــت على وتعرفت النفس على االعتماد افراد مع واختلطنا جديدة ثقافات كينيني وأقــمــنــا عــالقــات صــداقــة مع

بعضهم.

فترة قياسيةامـــــــــا نـــــــــــورة الــــــهــــــاجــــــري فــــقــــالــــت: الـــحـــيـــاة هـــنـــاك بــســيــطــة كـــــأن الـــزمـــن الشعب متوقف ومع ذلك تشعر بأن الكيني لــديــه اســلــوبــا راقــيــا جــدا في والــزوار حيث الضيوف التعامل مع يــمــتــازون بــالــكــرم رغــم فــقــرهــم، وعن تــجــربــتــي فــقــد كـــانـــت جـــديـــدة حــيــث انــنــي اشــتــركــت مــع فــريــق الــعــمــل في بــنــاء املــصــنــع وكــــان عــمــلــنــا احــضــار الــطــابــوق واالســمــنــت وشــاركــنــا في البناء، حتى أنني حملت املاء الثقيل عـــلـــى رأســـــــــي، وانـــتـــهـــيـــنـــا فـــــي فـــتـــرة قــيــاســيــة مــن بــنــاء وتــجــهــيــز املصنع واصـــبـــحـــوا يـــقـــومـــون بــصــنــاعــة 3-5 ســـــجـــــادات يـــومـــيـــا بــــــدال مــــن الــعــمــل اليدوي الذي كان ال ينتج أكثر من 5

سجادات اسبوعيا .وعــــن اكـــثـــر مـــا ظـــل فـــي مــخــيــلــتــهــا كنا الهاجري افــادت الرحلة تلك من نــعــطــي االطـــفـــال بــعــض الــحــلــوى في كانوا يــوم وشــعــرنــا كيف كــل نهاية ينتظرون أن يمر اليوم بسرعة حتى يــحــصــلــوا عــلــى الــحــلــوى، كــمــا انــنــي اناسا هــنــاك ان واتخيل اعــرف كنت يعيشون في فقر ولكن عندما ذهبت وشــاهــدت وعــشــت مــع هـــؤالء الــنــاس

وجدت ان الواقع اصعب بكثير.

فكرة املشروععودة بعد في صيف 2006 كينيا» «كويت الجــل k4K انطلق مشروعاحدى طالبات «لوياك» وصاحبة الفكرة من رحلتها التطوعية في ممباسا الطالبة في الذي شهدته للواقع األليم فقد جاءت فكرة هذا املشروع نتيجة يشتمون الخامسة أعمارهم تتجاوز لم ألطفال ومشاهدتها املنطقة، هذه املواد الخطرة كالغاسولني والصمغ بدال عن الغذاء الذي لم يجدوه، ولشباب يــعــانــون مــن أمــــراض مــزمــنــة كــنــقــص املــنــاعــة املكتسبة (االيـــــدز) ، ونــســاء الفقر والجوع واملرض، الذين ماتوا بسبب أزواجهن الحياة دون يصارعن

وهذا كان السبب في اقامة هذا املشروع من قبل «لوياك».

ورشة عمل ملوظفي لوياك نــظــم لـــويـــاك ورشـــــة عــمــل ملــوظــفــيــه في تــنــمــيــة مــــهــــارات الـــقـــيـــادة قـــدمـــهـــا انـــــدرو كـــوت بــمــجــمــوعــة االداء مـــديـــر بــــروكــــس الـــغـــذائـــيـــة بـــهـــدف تــنــمــيــة مــــهــــارات فــريــق املحاور من العديد خاللها تناول العمل وأهدافها املتقدمة اإلدارة مفاهيم منها: املديرين ودور ومستوياتها، وأهميتها فــي بيئة األعـــمـــال املــعــاصــرة، وفـــن قــيــادة اآلخـــــريـــــن ومـــفـــهـــوم الــــقــــيــــادة وأهــمــيــتــهــا فاعلية زيــادة في القائد وأنواعها، ودور يواجهها الــتــي الــتــحــديــات وأبــــرز األداء، القادة واملديرون واالتجاهات الحديثة في

اإلدارة وسمات القائد.

اقــيــمــت الــــورشــــة عــلــى مـــــدار 4 حــلــقــات وكانت على جانب كبير من املهنية حيث اســتــخــدم بــروكــس بــعــض الــتــمــاريــن التي تربط فكرة التواصل بني املدير وموظفيه وايـــــضـــــا الــــتــــعــــاون بـــــني جـــمـــيـــع االقــــســــام وااللتزام والفوائد التي تعود على كل ذلك سواء على اداء املوظف او املؤسسة بشكل

عام .وشكرت لوياك مجموعة كوت الغذائية وثمنت الورشة تلك وتقديم دعمها على جـــهـــود انــــــدرو بـــروكـــس فـــي دمــــج اقــســام وموظفي لوياك بشكل متناغم سينعكس

أعـــلـــنـــت مــــديــــرة املــــركــــز االقــلــيــمــي لــلــطــفــولــة واألمــــومــــة الـــتـــابـــع لـــــوزارة الـــــتـــــربـــــيـــــة ســــــعــــــاد الـــــــســـــــويـــــــدان عـــن بــــعــــنــــوان: تــــدريــــبــــيــــة دورة إقــــــامــــــة «استراتيجيات تعديل السلوك لذوي االحــتــيــاجــات الــخــاصــة»، وذلـــك اليوم االثـــنـــني وغـــــدا الـــثـــالثـــاء مـــن الــســاعــة الـــتـــاســـعـــة صـــبـــاحـــا وحـــتـــى الــثــانــيــة

جديد األكاديمية

فرص لتوفير والمستمر الدائم سعيها إطار فى النشاط بدعم لوياك أكاديمية قامت للشباب أكبر الفني لديها من خالل إضافة عدد من الكوادر الفنية الرسم برنامجها حيث تم حاليا بدء صفوف فى فى سوزان الفنانه مع باأللوان والرسم الرصاص بالقلم جي الدي والعب الراقص مع البدء تم كما راغب الهيب رقص في صفوف إلعطاء الهاشمي محمد هوب وأخيرا بدء بالفعل أحمد سهيل من فرقة حمد التراث فن فى للشباب دروس إلعطاء حسين بن الكويتي فى محاولة من األكاديمية للحفاظ على هذا حرصا عملها األكاديمية وتواصل الشباب بين الفن مختلف فى المدربين أفضل إستقدام على منها صفوف أو عمل ورش إلطاء سواء الفنية المجاالت

تدريبية دائمة.

قدمها شباب لوياك على مسرح متحف الكويت الوطني فى إطار إستعراضي رائع

الوطني وبحضور الكويت على خشبة مسرح متحف وزير اإلعالم الشيخ محمد العبد اهلل قدم شباب فرقة اإلستعراضي المسرحي العمل المسرحية لوياك ليالي ثالث مدي وعلى الماضي الشهر )الخيزران(

متواصلة.العمل من تأليف فارعة السقاف وإخراج رسول الصغير حول العباسي العصر فى المسرحية أحداث وتدور أمير المهدي أحبها والتي اليمنية الجارية الخيزران المؤمنين وتزوجها وهكذا أصبحت الملكة ولقبت بأم ولديها بين المسرحية فى الصراع ويدور الخليفتين هارون تساعد حيث الرشيد وهارون الهادي موسي الرشيد للتخلص من أخيه وتضعه على سدة الخالفة.

بمشاركة فنيه كاملة قدمت األكاديمية حفل إفتتاح الصباح سلوى قاعة في لليخوت الكويت معرض على عزفا األكاديمية وقدمت السالمية بمنطقة الموسيقي أستاذ إبراهيم سامي للدكتور البيانو الشابة المواهب بمصاحبة أخرى ومرة باألكاديمية على الناي والعود وتلى ذلك عرضا تراثيا لفرقة حمد واآلداء الموسيقى خالل من عبروا حيث حسين بن الحركي عن الكويت قديما ومزج التراث بالحاضر من األكاديمية شباب قدمه هوب للهيب عرض خالل الحكومية الشخصيات من عددا الحفل وحضر

كيف تشاهد فلماسينمائيا ؟

السينما ، حيث االنقطاع التام عن العالم الخارجي .

Structure

أي فلم مقسم الى ثالث أجزاء )بداية -وسط -نهاية( قال فقد ، فلسفية األصل في التقسيمة وهذه ،ووسط بداية شي :لكل الشعر كتاب في أرسطو التقسيم تتخذ تجديدية مدرسة هناك و . ،ونهاية الرباعي منهجا لها ، لكنها غير منتشرة .وفي داخل ، ،ومحوريين مهمين حدثين هناك أن نجد الفلم . وهذان )The Plot Point( بالحبكة ما تسمى أو الى الصراع ومن التمهيد الفلم من الفعالن ينقالن

غالب األفالم الروائية تتراوح مدتها من ساعة ونصف الى ساعتين، وهناك أفالم استثنائية تصل الى ثالث ساعات ، أو ساعتين. والمشاهد ال يحتاج أن يرى الفلم يكفي ، ال أم جيدا كان إذا عليه يحكم لكي كله يعرف ،وسوف فقط منه دقائق عشر أول متابعة أم المتابعة الفلم يستحق إذا كان الشخص خاللها على تعرفت قد ستكون الوقت هذا خالل ألنك ال. الشخصية الرئيسية ،والقصة العامة ،والحالة العامة بأسلوب استرجاع يروى الفلم لو كان ،وحتى للفلم األحداث )Flashback( ، فاألمر ال يختلف كثيرا . ال تزال

متسلسلة ومترابطة بشكل مدهش .

Resolution

الموجود والصراع المجابهة لينهي يأتي الحل ، فإذا لم يكن هناك حل واضح ونهاية الفلم داخل واضحة فإن األمر يصبح كالمباراة التي ليست فيها صفارة نهاية .فالنهايات المفتوحة -وان كان البعض الفلم قيمة من تقلل أنها إال موضة- أنها يعتقد فنيا، وال مانع من أن يترك المخرج بعض التساؤالت القصة تبقى .لكن الفلم نهاية في والغموض ،مغلقة في العموم . فال يجوز أن يخرج المشاهد وهو ؟ فليس هناك بعد أم الفلم انتهى يتساءل هل بل . سائبة نهايات الحقيقي السينمائي الفن في

Adaptation

حفل تسليم شهادات " جنوم لوياك "بحضور احلجرف

واحلمود وداو

اقام لوياك حفل تسليم شهادات " نجوم لوياك " بحضور وزير التربية الدكتور/ العام االمين و الصباح الحمود سلمان / الشيخ االعالم وزير و الحجرف نايف وممثل اليوحه علي / المهندس واآلداب والفنون للثقافة الوطنى للمجلس جمال / السيد للوياك الرئيسي الشريك تعد والتى للكيماويات داو شركة العتال المدير العام في الكويت ، واالعالمي تركي الدخيل مقدم برنامج اضاءات على قناة العربية والسيدة / فارعة السقاف رئيس مجلس ادارة لوياك وعضوات

مجلس االدارة.اعرب الدكتور / نايف الحجرف عن سعادته بحضور حفل تكريم مجموعة مميزة من شباب لوياك المتطوع في عدد كبير من المجاالت وأكد على ان تلك المجاالت تفتح الباب امام ابداعاتهم وتنمى قدراتهم وان لوياك بدأت تأخذ ابعادا كبيرة لمستقبلهم ما هو مفيد فراغهم في كل اوقات الطلبة وتشغل ابنائنا لدي على القائمين عليه يشكر كبير جهد وهذا مواهبهم على الضوء وتسلط

لوياك .

ومن جانبه اشاد الحمود بالدور التى تقوم به لوياك تجاه الشباب وانه اصبح نموذج يحتذي به والدليل على ذلك انتشاره في عدد من الدول العربية وبنجاح ، وعن ورشة العمل التى قدمها االعالمي تركي الدخيل افاد الحمود بأن التركيز على تلك الورش تعمل على دعم الشباب وتأهيلهم واكتساب الخبرة وخاصة عندما

تقدم من اعالمي مخضرم ولديه حضور جماهيري واسع مثل تركي الدخيل .بدأ الحفل بكلمة للسقاف رحبت فيها بالحضور قائلة :

أرحب بكم جميعا فى هذه األمسية التى خصصناها لتكريم نجوم لوياك وهم أعالم أمام نخبة من الماضيه الشهور الذين شاركوا فى فعاليات الشباب كل الثقافة والصحافة والمجتمع لنقول على المأل أننا فخورون بهم وأن لوياك تكبر بإنجازات شبابها ،ولكن وقبل أن نبدأ االمسية بتكريم المشاركين فى ورشه اإلعالمى تركى الدخيل إسمحو لى أن أشكر أصالة عن نفسـى ونيابة عن مجلس إدارة لوياك بل ونيابة عن كل شاب وشابة استفاد من ورشة تركى الدخيل الذى أيام من اإلعالمية بل ويكرس 4 تبرع بجهوده مشكورا ليقدم خالصة تجربته الرسالة بأهمية منه أيمانا وأعمالها لوياك على قرب عن للتعرف الثمين وقته

التى نتبناها . " المميز برنامجه فى للوياك خصصها التى بالمقابلة يكتفى لم الرجل هذا إضاءات " بل تحمس لرؤيتنا وقدم أبعد من ذلك بكثير ووعد بأن يكون صديقا

دائما وداعما أساسيا لنشر هذه الرؤية فى الوطن العربى كله .شكرا لصديقنا اإلعالمى المميز تركى الدخيل واسمح لى أن أعبر لك عن امتناننا

وتقديرنا بهدية تذكارية متواضعة من لوياك .ومن جانبه اعرب الدخيل عن سعادته لوجوده في لوياك ومشاركته للشباب في احد اهم الجوانب الهامة لهم وخاصة لمن يهتم بمجال االعالم وتمنى التوفيق

لكل من شارك في ورشة العمل واالستفادة منها .الورشة في للمشاركين شهادات توزيع تالها ، الدخيل بتكريم السقاف قامت

حيث قام الدخيل بتكريم المشاركين وتسليمهم شهادات اتمام الورشة .العارضات بتكريم اليوحه وقام االسيوي االزياء لعرض فيديو بعدها قدم الثقافي القرين مهرجان فعاليات ضمن اقيم والذي العرض في المشاركات

بتنظيم وادارة لوياك .قدم لوياك ايضا شهادات لمجموعة الطلبة المشاركين في ورشة عمل لوياكي والتى قام بتدريسها السيد / عبدالمحسن المياس وقام بتكريم الطلبة معالي

وزير االعالم . جاء بعدها تكريم كلمة لالستاذة / نوف الهاجري مدير عام شركة PP7 شكرت لليخوت في الكويت المميز ومشاركتها في معرض لوياك على تعاونها فيها

االفتتاح والختام ومن ثم قامت بتكريم المشاركين في المعرض .لوياك طلبة بتكريم االشراف شؤون مدير الداللي نجاة / السيدة قامت كما

المتطوعين في معرض " كويتي اكتر من وطن " .لمسرحية رعايتها على داو شركة بشكر السقاف قامت الحفل نهاية وفي الخيزران التى عرضت في نوفمبر الماضي وسيعاد عرضها مرة اخرى في شهر مارس القادم وقام العتال بتكريم فريق عمل المسرحية وشكرهم على الجهود

الواضحة واألداء المميز للعمل .

- عرفنا بالفريق الكويتي لالحتباس الحراري ؟الفرق احد الحراري لالحتباس الكويتي الفريق برئاسة التطوعي العمل لمركز التابعة التطوعية الشيخة أمثال األحمد الصباح، إنظم إلى مركز العمل التطوعي في ديسمبر 2008 وهو عبارة عن مجموعة من الشباب لهم اهتمامات مشتركة بموضوع حماية

البيئة وباألخص ظاهرة االحتباس الحراري.

- كيف جائت فكرته ؟جاءت إنطالقة الفريق مع إنطالقة حدث ساعة األرض الذي بدأ من مدينة سيدني في أستراليا عام 200٧ ، حيث شارك 2.2 مليون شخص بإطفاء االضواء الغير تقليل الى أدى المجهود . هذا لمدة ساعة ضرورية من إستهالك الطاقة بمقدار 10.2٪ في هذه الساعة، وأدى إلى تقليل إنبعاثات غاز ثاني أوكسيد الكربون ساعة لمدة سيارة ٤2,000 إستخدام عدم يعادل بما بالحدث الفريق أعضاء إحدى سماع وعند واحدة، ألول الحراري لإلحتباس الكويتي الفريق شارك الهندسة بكلية 2008 عام األرض ساعة بحملة مرة العلمية لألبحاث الكويت والبترول ومشاركة معهد

بتنظيم عدد من طلبة الكلية.

- ما هي االنشطة التي نظمها الفريق؟الفريق هو المنظم الرسمي لحدث ساعة األرض في مستوى على بيئي حدث أكبر يعد الذي الكويت العالم، كما يقوم الفريق بتقديم وتنظيم محاضرات والتغير الحراري االحتباس في متخصصة علمية والمعاهد المدارس في دورية بصفة المناخي والمؤتمرات المعارض في والمشاركة والجامعات، الوعي مستوى لرفع عمل ورش وتنظيم المحلية مواقع و االعالم وسائل خالل من الظاهره بهذه

- حدثنا عن فعالية ساعة األرض وتفاصيلها ؟مدينه في 2007 عام بدأت االرض ساعه فعاليه الكويت شاركت 2008 عام في باستراليا. سيدني من طالب نظمها . بسيط بشكل الفعاليه بهذه البترول. الفكره من فعاليه ساعه كليه الهندسه و االرض هو اطفاء االناره الغير ضروريه لمده ساعه ليس لتوفير الكهرباء بل لتقليل انبعاث غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون من حرق الوقود االحفوري في محطات توليد بظاهرة الوعي زياده هو الحدث هدف الكهرباء. االحتباس الحراري و اساليب حمايه البيئه بشكل عام.

- ما هي أبرز التحديات التي تواجهكم في العمل ؟

صعوبة الحصول على دعم مادي لحملة حدث ساعة المختلفة الجهات الى الوصول صعوبة و األرض،

بالدولة للمشاركة بالحدث.

من انا؟السؤال األهم يف حياتنا

لها ت ليس مفتوحة رحلة الذات طوير نهاية هناك محطات نتوقف فيها قليال ولكن علينا أن نكمل المسيرة حتى أخر

لحظه فى حياتنا . بتفاصيل لنستمتع الوعى معنا نصحب أن المهم الرحله فيصبح لدينا هدايا نقدمها وهدايا نستلمها الرحلة نبكى خالل نتألم وقد . قد فى كل محطة فنعيش األكبر الصوره نرى سيجعلنا وعينا لكن عنه أتكلم الذى الوعى . األلم الفرح حتى من خالل يجعلنا رقيبا دائما على مشاعرنا وأفكارنا وسلوكنا اليومى هذا الوعى سيمكننا من رصد األلم واإلعتراف البعض قد يملك من أن . بل اإلنجراف فيه به دون الوعى ما يؤهله الستثمار األلم أو الحزن في اإلبداع ،

فيفرح وينشر الفرح حوله رغم ألمه.من يملك هذا الوعى يدرك جيدا أن الفرح هو الشعور الطبيعى والفطرى للبشرية وأن خالف ذلك من دراما هى فى الغالب من صنع اإلنسان نفسه، وأكبر دليل ذهنيا والمعاقين األطفال هم الفرح فطرية على فتجدهم حتى فى جوعهم ومرضهم قادرين على

الفرح .الذهنية الصور أو أفكارنا من تأتى أالمنا معظم دراما خلق الى يدفعنا ما وهو علينا تسيطر التي نعيشها معتقدين أن ال يد لنا بها . لذا من المهم ألنها إيجابيه دائما الذهنية الصوره تكون أن جدا

تتحكم فى وعينا الى حد بعيد .عن نتخذها التي الذهنية الصورة في الوعى يبدأ أنفسنا وهى أننا وحدنا المسؤلون عن أفراحنا ،أآلمنا

وعن نجاحاتنا وخيباتنا إن وجدت . هذا الوعى مرتبط بقدرتنا على تغير الصوره الذهنية السلبيه عن أنفسنا وتحويلها الى صوره إيجابيه أى من صوره الضحية المستلب الى صورة المبادر القادر

على التغير والمسئول عن انفعاالته وشعوره .من تحول ألنه وشجاعة جرأه يتطلب تحول وهذا Comfort االسترخاء منطقة أي والمعتاد المألوف Zone الى غير المألوف والجديد أي منطقة الشجاعة والتــزاما. جهدا يتطلب ما Courage Zone،وهو

جهد فى التعلــم والتــزام فى التطبيق .يمتلك هذه قليال ولكن من تراجعنا أننا قد نشعر الطريق الى سيعود اإليجابيه الذهنية الصوره

الصحيح حتما. بعض أشهد زلت وال كنت الشخصيه رحلتى خالل التراجعات أو اإلخفاقات الصغيره إذ أننى وفى غمرة عيني عن تغيب قد اليوميه بالتفاصيل انهماكى الصوره الكبرى ولكن إيجابيـه الصوره الذهنية التى أمارسها على التـى اليوميه المراقبه و بها أتمسك حالة ضبط على قادرة تجعلنى ومشاعرى أفكـارى االنفعــال وعدم االنجــراف فى صنــع الدرامـا اليوميـه . أنفعل وقد المواقف مع أتفاعل أن الطبيعى من سلبــا إال أن وعـيي يكــون حاضــرا فى الوقــت المناسب بإيجابيه فإن المواقف التعامل مع فيساعدنى على إنفعلت وأخطأت فعادة ما تكون هــذه األخطاء قابلة

للتصحيح بأقل قدر من الخسائــر . لها أتعرض التى اليومية المواقف هي كثيرة والتي تضعني امام اختبارات حقيقية لقدرتي على السيطرة والتعامل مع المواقف بإيجابية فإحتكاكى الكثير يحمل وابنتى أمورهم وأولياء الشباب مع التى العمرية الفئة وأن خصوصا التحديات من نفسية تقلبات من تعانى ما عادة معها أتعامل

األحيان بعض فى حادة تكون قد وفسيولوجية دائم واستفزاز تحدى حالة فى يكون وبعضهم

بهدف إثبات الوجود .2004 كانت مكثفه من حيث 2002 وحتى الفترة من الذهنية الصوره استخدام على قدرتى إختبار اإليجابيه واستخدام أدوات 7HABITS فى مواجهة

لدورات تضمنت دوره تدريب المدرب . صديقاتى على البرنامج تعميم الى دفعتنى كما المراهقين فى مجلـس اإلدارة وتبنى منهج تدريب الشرق فى جهة أول 2004 عام فى لوياك فأصبحت على والمراهقين الشباب لتدريب ترخص األوسط

هذا البرنامج . على كثيرا ساعدنى للبرنامج مدربه الى تحولى

مواجهة المواقف الحياتية بتوازن. وعيي إلختبار فيها تعرضت التي المواقف أحد موقف هو اإليجابية الذهنية بالصورة والتــزامي تخرجهــا 2004 سنه بداية صيف نادية فى ابنتى مع وطلبت غرفتـى الى مسـرعه دخلت الثانوى. من حفل لحضــور دبى الى صديقاتها مع السفر منى موسيقى لمغنى أمريكـــي ، دخــولها وحديثها كان تضعنى أن أرادت وكأنها اإلستعجال صفة يحمل تحت هذا الضغط فأستعجل الموافقة لكن جوابى بطريقه تتصرف وجعلها فأثارها بالرفض جاء مستفزه معبره عن غضبها وسخطها فى عدد من التصرفات منها صفع البـــاب ، المقاطعــة و االمتـنـــاع

عن تنــاول الطعـــام معنا . وأتبعها أنفعل المواقف هذه مثل في عادة فى وندخل تصرفها على وأعنفها غرفتها إلى اإلحتقان من مزيد الى يؤدى ما غالبا عقيم جدل و اإلنفعال تسلل وبرغم المرة هذه . والتصعيد أن استطعت أننى إال نفسى الى بالغضب الشعور الذهنية الصورة باستخدام وأبدأ إنفعالي أراقب اإليجابية للتحكم برد الفعل وكان الخيار األسلم هو

تجنب المواجهة لبضعة أيام. هذا مواجهه بها استعنت التي الذهنية الصورة شعوري عن المسئولة الوحيدة وأنني الموقف لو إال استفزاز حالة أن يضعني في أخر وليس ألحد سمحت له أنا بذلك . هذه الصورة أعادتني الى التوازن فقررت أن أكمل يومي وأتجــاهل غضبها تماما وكأن شيئا لم يكن . كان لتصرفى هذا تأثير مختلف على لن أنه هى وصلتها التى فالرسالة ناديه سلوك تأثير فى إفساد يومى كما كانت يكون لتصرفاتها تتوقع. هذه الرسالة جعلت غضبها يتحول الى حزن

وبدا ذلك واضحا فى تصرفاتها . ال ولكنها المقاطعه لهذه حزينة بأنها فشعرت تجرؤ على اإلعتذار، وبعد مرور ثالثة أيام قررت ان أفتح خاصة لجلسة دعوتها الموضوع حول حوار معها

وبدأت بجملة واحدة فقط : أريد أن أسمع منك لماذا تعتقدين أن سفرك "نادية إلى دبى لحضور هذا الحفل مهم الى هذه الدرجه؟ " حين تكلمت نادية شعرت بأن كل ما كانت تسعى

اليه فى حوارها هو أن تتأكد أننى أثق بها ، وهذا ما فعلت بمجرد إنصاتى لها بتعاطف وتفاعلى

مع مشاعرها دون مقاطعة . بكت نادية ألنها تأكدت من محبتى لها. بكت ألنها بأننى أفهمهـــا وأفهم دوافعهـــا رغم عدم شعرت

" الواحد: بالحرف لى وقالت الرحله على موافقتى سبب أفهم وأنا اإلطالق على مهمة ليست الرحلة وربمــا لصديقــاتى أثبت أن اردته ما كل إعتراضك. بالسفــر لى وستسمحين بى تثقيـن أنك لنفسى

وحدى معهم ".أن لناديه سمـح وتفهمى وتعاطفـى إنصـاتى الى وحـدها توصلت قـد أنها رغم لى تستمـع أحبها وأثق بها أننى األولى هى النتيجة نتيجتين بموضوع عالقة له ليس على سفرها إعتراضي وأن ترغب تعد لم أنها الثانية .النتيجة إطالقا الثقة فى هذه الرحلة ألن دوافع الرحلة غير منطقية وغير مبرره. توصل ناديه لهاتين النتيجتين قبل أن أتكلم

سهل األمر علي كثيرا في الحديث معها فيما بعد.لرصيدي فى بإضافة كبيره انتهى الحوار نجاح هذا عالقتي مع إبنتي . إعجاب نادية بتعاملى مع الموقف 7HABITS دفعها لإلنضمام فى أول دوره من دوراتالنجاحات هذه مثل 2004 صيف فى لوياك تقدمها بقدرتي بالثقـــة شعوري من تعزز كانت الصغيره تأثيري دائرة بأن لي وتؤكـد بمحيطي التأثير على تتسع يوما بعد يوم وهو ما جعلني أتمسك بهذه إجابة عن للبحث محاولة في بها واستمر الرحلة

للسؤال األهم في حياتنا من أنا ؟ ولماذا أنا هنا ؟
