Pearlstick™ 45-40/15

The DIY industry has traditionally used

polychloroprene chemistry for the formulation of

contact adhesives. While bonding strength properties

are generally adequate, its non-appealing yellow color is

often a drawback. Pearlstick™ technologies from Lubrizol

delivers a fully transparent alternative, does not require heat

activation and bonds well to leather, plasticized PVC and many

textiles. Available in various viscosities, Pearlstick technologies can

be dissolved in a range of solvents, including MEK, Acetone and THF.

Modern fire hoses need to be highly resistant to a

range of factors in tough environments and be flexible

for easy, flat winding, and Lubrizol thermoplastic

polyurethane (TPU) technologies for adhesives deliver

outstanding performance. Pearlbond™ TPU products

for adhesives provide very short cycle times and

very high bonding strength when used to

bond the PVC inner liner to the textile jacket.

Fire Hose

Lubrizol is a global leader in TPU adhesive

technology for footwear with specific solutions

tailored to the various bonding requirements and

production processes. Pearlstick™ and Pearlbond™

adhesive solutions benefit applications such as toe puffs,

Heat transfer labels commonly used
