Since the launch of Lucky, we’ve seen amazing growth of

scooting. Just over the past year, Lucky’s online store and

dealer network have seen a dramatic increase in demand

for our scooters, parts, and accessories. In fact, 90,000

followers on Facebook, and millions of visitors to our web

site, have made Lucky the most popular scooter brand in

the world.

You’ve probably noticed that we’ve stepped up our social

media marketing, web presence, and event participation.

That’s just the start of the Lucky 2012 launch wave. The

global launch of our new product line in September will

introduce the next-generation of Lucky branded products

to the world.

We’ve expanded our product portfolio, implemented new

product designs with cutting-edge artists and industrial

designers, and differentiated our portfolio to offer a number

of choices for riders of varying skill levels across a much

wider pricing spectrum—and we’ve done all this while

maintaining our hardcore focus on quality.

We look forward to partnering with you to help you meet

demand for Lucky products and expand the global footprint

of scooting!

It’s not luck. It’s Lucky.

PowerPillarsIf you look at the front profile of a Lucky deck, you’ll see four pillars extending from the bottom corners to the deck undercarriage. These PowerPillars™ prevent stress fractures and torsional buckling, the two most common causes of deck failure. Our engineers used the Direct Strength Method to prove mathematically that this geometry gives Lucky decks superior twist rigidity and strength.

Lucky Rebound Technology (LRT)We’ve spent the past two years working with some of the world’s best engineers to develop Lucky Rebound Technology (LRT)™ —a combination of custom urethane, a new pouring process, and a proprietary curing method—which makes Lucky wheels the fastest, smoothest, best-gripping wheels on earth. Pro riders around the world raved during test rides, and confirmed that LRT represents a breakthrough in the industry.

High Impact TreatmentAll Lucky bars receive High Impact Treatment (HIT)™, a pre-weld heat treatment process and post-weld treatment that seals the finish, hardens the alloy, and dramatically increases the resistance to brittle fracture and torsional stresses. The result is that Lucky bars don’t snap above the clamp or crack at the welds.

EternaLockThe new Lucky triple and quad clamps come with EternaLock™, which is a combination of Loctite (a glue that hardens when oxygen is removed to secure screws against vibration) and an alternating bolt pattern that makes it easy to apply the necessary torque to secure the clamp and prevent unwanted loosening.

Torque Dispersion TechnologyTorque Dispersion Technology™ is implemented during the CNC process and the aluminum heating and hardening of the Lucky forks. TDT is activated when the fork legs are subjected to tensile stresses which they eliminate by resolving them into compressive stresses, which are then held in a state of equilibrium. This is critical because most scooter forks on the market can resist some compression, but are very weak when tension, shear or torsional stress is applied to them.

Core LockLucky Core Lock™ is a unique wheel hub design that locks the urethane to the wheel core and prevents chunking or de-hubbing, even in the most radical situations. This patent-pending technology saves riders money and teeth.

Lucky’s 2012 product line-up introduces several advanced technologies that improve performance, durability, and reliability. Our engineering team modeled these technologies using state-of-the-art 3D CAD tools to dramatically improve tolerances and optimize the balance and “feel” of a Lucky ride.

Dual Heat TreatmentHeat treating aluminum is the process of hardening the metal, and dual heat treatment makes our aluminum parts even stronger. Many scooter companies avoid dual heat treatments because it requires sophisticated machinery, and the process takes a long time to do right, but Lucky insists on doing it right, all the time.

4130 ChromolyUsed for its excellent strength to weight ratio and its ability to absorb hard impacts, 4130 chromoly is considerably stronger and harder than standard steel and is commonly used in high-quality extreme sports components.

Powder CoatingOur process of powder coating both cleans and improves the bonding of the powder to the metal providing a durable coat that will protect against rust while maintaining the visual imagery and soft feel to the metal, which provides a durable coat that will protect against rust while giving the metal a finish that is tougher than conventional paint. Also, powder coating overspray can be recycled, so we can achieve nearly 100% use of the coating.

Lucky 90 Day Quality GuaranteeLucky is known for having the strongest and most reliable products in the industry. If you see the Lucky Clover, you can trust we’ve got your back. That’s where our industry leading 90 day quality guarantee ensures that when you buy Lucky, you buy only the best.

Anodized CoatingAnodizing increases corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and provides better adhesion for paint primers than metal, resulting in 30% stronger aluminum along with brighter color and style.

Lucky Pro CertifiedWhether you’re just starting to scoot or if you’re pro yourself, you want to know oyur riding what the pros ride. Lucky Pro Certified means it’s been ridden, tested, and approved by Lucky’s Top Pro riders. Once its certified, its ready for any banger you can throw its way.

6061 T6 AluminumOften referred to as “aircraft-grade aluminum,” T6 has the highest tensile strength possible while maintaining good mechanical properties and weldability. Many scooter companies skimp and use lower-grade aluminum to save costs, but Lucky insists on T6.

We are excited to announce three new models of completes: the Lucky Crew™, Lucky Strata™, and Lucky Clover™. Each model is designed for riders with a wide range of skills, from intermediate to expert, and each comes in a variety of color choices.

Lucky’s 2012 complete scooters are modeled and prototyped by our engineering team for optimum weight, balance, and performance. Decks and forks are machined with no bonding or welding that would lead to weak spots. Bars are hand-constructed by our certified welders using only 4130 chromoly. Wheels are manufactured using Lucky Rebound Technology (LRT) to give them speed and grip without the chunking or de-hubbing most wheels are prone to.

The result of all this attention to detail is that our scooters are extremely fast, ultra strong, and easy to carve, flick, and grind.

Designed to meet market demand for a high-quality and price-competitive scooter, the new Lucky Crew™ is the perfect scooter for young and intermediate riders that want the experience and street cred of riding a Lucky pro scooter. The Lucky Stinger™ deck, Lucky ProBars™, and 100 millimeter Lucky Charm™ wheels give the Crew a grounded, balanced feel that makes it easy to turn, jump, and control. Junior will be proud to

show up at the park with this sweet ride. The Crew design was inspired by graffiti wall art in Paris, France, where the rule on the street is that once the artist is done with their painting, anyone can come along and paint over it. Similarly, we expect Crew riders to overhaul their scooter over time, customizing it with new parts and components as they develop their talent and preferences.

The 2012 Lucky Strata™ is a serious upgrade from the Crew. It’s optimized for speed and maneuverability—perfect for intermediate and expert riders looking to show off their skills on neighborhood curbs or the scooter park. Featuring the new Lucky Motion™ deck with integrated headset, Lucky SMX™ forks, and

110mm Lucky Icon™ wheels, the Strata is the undisputed best “banger-for-your-buck.” The Strata design was inspired by the street layout of Seattle, Washington, which is based on a series of disjointed rectangular street grids.

Ridden by many of the world’s top pros, the Lucky Clover™ is competition-ready out of the box. This is the model that made us famous on YouTube—and the 2012 version is loaded top-to-bottom with premium parts and components. Optimized for high-speed, high-impact scootering, the Clover will be the best scooter at the park on any given

day. The Clover design was inspired by the scoot revolution that began at the beginning of this century, and is now sweeping the globe. It’s our way of paying homage to all the companies, individuals, and riders that have advanced the sport through blood, sweat, and tears.

The Lucky SMX™ fork, originally launched by Lucky in 2009, is now the most popular, best-performing fork on the market, period. Designed to mimic the look of BMX forks, the SMX is CNC machined from 6061 T6 (aircraft-grade) aluminum, which renders it light and strong. With new Lucky branding, the 2012 SMX is easily recognizable on the rides of the world’s top street riders and pros, including Mike Montgomery, Kota Schuetz, and Terry Price.

The 2012 SMX is built with Torque Dispersion Technology™ (TDT) ™, which eliminates tensile stresses and enables the SMX to absorb the impacts of massive bangers. This is critical because many scooter forks on the market, including SMX counterfeits, can resist some compression, but are very weak when tension, shear or torsional stress is applied to them. Tell your customers to demand Lucky SMX—the original and still the best. Includes axle.

The Lucky product team takes

design seriously, so we’ve built

some seriously stylish forks.

Our forks are CNC machined

from a single piece of

aluminum (no bonding or

welding), so they are

lightweight and strong.

Riders around the world

choose our forks for

their strength,

durability, and feel.

They offer a smooth

ride at high speed, and

they can absorb

the impact of the

highest stair hucks.

All Lucky forks come

with an axle bolt and

built-in wheel spacers.

Lucky LS™ forks are in their fourth-generation, so we’ve had time to tune them for the most demanding riders. The LS is CNC machined from 6061 T6 (aircraft-grade) aluminum, which renders it light and strong. The LS is

an architectural beauty, with a slight offset and no bonds, threads, or welds. And now the 2012 LS has Torque Dispersion Technology™ (TDT) and thickened legs which give it market-leading strength and durability. Includes axle.

Lucky decks are known

for their balance, strength,

and performance. The 2012

Lucky decks continue the

tradition with new designs

that improve weight and

performance. They are

extruded from 6061 T6

aircraft-grade aluminum

in order to ensure minimal

oxidation, closer tolerances,

and a smooth surface finish.

We’ve added PowerPillarsTM

to our extrusions to

prevent stress fractures

and torsional buckling, the

two most common causes

of deck failure. As a result,

Lucky decks have a tensile

strength of 45,000 psi (310

MPa)—the strongest on the

market.

The most skilled, most

aggressive riders in the

world ride our decks

because they last longer

than any other deck on

the market and have a flat

bottom surface that’s ideal

for grabs and grinds.

Intermediate riders will love the new Lucky Stinger™ deck for its compelling price/performance. It’s super light, super strong, perfectly balanced, and offers exceptional value usually associated with premium-priced decks. It features a flat-bottom surface to allow for grinding, and four degrees of concave on the surface to provide

optimum grip and control. It has a welded reinforced downtube, PowerPillars™, and is dual heat treated to prevent stress fractures and torsional buckling. The Stinger comes with a built-in Lucky Steely™ brake and our exclusive Lucky Suppressor™ silent braking system. Threaded or theadless headset must be purchased separately.

The Lucky Motion™ comes standard on the 2012 Lucky Strata™ and Lucky Clover™ complete scooters. It is an advanced deck with an integrated threadless headset, a welded ultra-high strength downtube, PowerPillars™, and is dual heat treated to prevent stress fractures and torsional buckling. In test rides around the globe, riders raved about the performance of the Motion, particularly the weight and balance.

Its flat bottom surface allows for smoother grinding, and four degrees of concave on the surface provide optimum grip and control. The Motion is a thrill ride. The 20” model comes with an FSA Impact integrated headset (threadless), and the 20.5” model comes with FSA Orbit IS integrated headset (threadless). Both models come with a built-in Lucky Steely™ brake and our exclusive Lucky Suppressor™ silent braking system.

The Lucky City Grid Tee was inspired by the city of Seattle. Lucky HQ is located only a stone’s throw away from the city so we felt it was quite necessary to keep our hometown in our theme for 2012. This shirt also matches the graphics on the bottom of the Strata Complete!

The Lucky Ride Tee was designed to remind you to push yourself to become a better scooter rider. We want you all to become better and progress the sport and maybe even end up on the Lucky Team one day! (Please do not actually steal anything, we do not encourage stealing).

The Lucky Revolution Tee is a symbol of the Scoot Revolution that has been growing since the beginning of this century. We are here to show everybody that scootering is here to stay and is just as worthy of an X-Games position as skateboarding is. Join the revolution, join Lucky!
