sionate about equipping business peo-
ple to align their daily processes and
practices to their purpose. Established

chaos and invest in the things that mat-
ter most to your organization’s suc-
cess. You’ll even learn how to build
and prioritize job descriptions around
intentional time allocation. You’ll

Citizen or Business Person of the Year!
It is the Camas-Washougal Chamber’s pleasure to

Let’s talk about Balance. It is
one of those things that we all
strive for. Often it feels like the
Carrot on the Stick – forever
JUST out of reach….When was
the last time you ran into some-
one and in that quick conversa-
tion either one or both of you said
“I’m good – I’m so balanced!”
Never – we are all living such
busy, hectic lives.
Balance comes in many different forms. It
could be keeping our pipelines at a consistent
level in business to reduce the periods of too
much work to be completed in any given week
and the resulting lull the next. With spring right
around the corner many of us will be spending
more leisure time outside. In order to do so we
need to find that unicorn of Work/Life Balance.
I remember reading somewhere that Balance
isn’t a level to be achieved; it’s not somewhere
you get to and just stay balanced. It is a result
of all the little decisions that we make every
day.
If you are on any sort of social media you are
running across the ‘2017 – The Best Year
Ever.’ That got me thinking – What would
make it ‘The Best Year Ever?’ So I made my
list – I would recommend you do that too. Then
you can prioritize and make sure that all those
little decisions you are making everyday are
keeping you in balance and working toward en-
suring that 2017 really is the ‘Best Year Ever!’
Good Luck!
