clifford duske

Throughout his 30 years in luxury retail on Michigan Avenue, Cliford Duske

was beloved by clients and colleagues alike. He began his career as an

Armani specialist at Bloomingdales and later moved to Neiman Marcus,

where he represented Chanel handbags and accessories.

Cliford’s sense of style was as grand as his physical presence: at six feet tall

with a signature ponytail and year-round tan, he was fond of fur hats and long

coats in winter and vibrant kerchiefs and unique loafers in summer. It was

his charm, grace, and infectious laugh which most endeared him to everyone

around him, however. He will be remembered for his big-heartedness and the

ease with which he could light up a room with a smile. Cliford is survived by

his partner of 18 years, Michael Frustini.
