Management Company & Service Packages
Along with any ground rent or insurance contributions that may fall due on your property, you will be obliged to contribute to a management company for the maintenance of The Peninsula and its associated grounds. Management company services will be provided and administered by the adjacent St Ives Harbour Hotel. The contribution is expected to be between £1,250 and £1,750 per annum. The contribution
includes a payment to a sinking fund, this is money reserved for significant remedial works to communal areas and the periodic redecoration of the external parts. The Hotel will be on a Direct Dial telephone number, both for advice on the local area and to coordinate additional hotel services such as laundry or food and drink from the hotels restaurant and bar. In addition to the management company services, the Hotel will also offer service packages to buyers, these have been designed to add value to your property and enhance the lifestyle enjoyed at The Peninsula.
Spa
For each buyer at the Peninsula, we have negotiated two free memberships at the Harbour Spa. You will pay no joining fee or membership costs for two years. Spa treatments and products are available at additional cost; family memberships are available by negotiation.
Optional ExtrasMaintenance
The hotel’s own repair and maintenance team shall be on hand seven days a week, 9am to 5pm for emergency callouts. The Maintenance Package will be around £1,800 per annum.
Housekeeping
The Hotel housekeeping team will attend your property providing once a month internal window cleaning and weekly full-house clean. The Housekeeping Package will be around £2,500 per annum.
The Maintenance and Housekeeping packages are sold on a 12 month rolling contract and may be subject to VAT.
Further service package upgrades
Additional, chargeable housekeeping services will be available through the hotel on-demand or in addition to any subscribed package; this can include full linen hire. The hotel have confirmed that their bar and kitchens will also be available to you and your tenants providing anything from their ‘room service’ menu to hire of a chef or cocktail waiter to cater for your party.
