Backward Compatibility

• Customers who have the OLD CPU’s will experience the following issues trying to MIX units in their system with the NEW CPU’s– S/W loads are unique to each CPU

• Customers who use remote management tools will need to segregate the units by CPU to ensure the proper S/W is loaded.

– The new CPU’s units only ship with the Atheros radio• Customers who currently have units with Broadcom or even Intel

radio will have configuration setup differences but not performance issues.

• We are currently not aware of any application transition issues moving from the old OS’s to the new OS’s

– Windows Embedded Standard does use Internet Explorer 7
