TEMPORARY MASS SCHEDULE
Saturdays 4pm Sundays 8am (Spanish), 10am, 12pm, and 6pm
Weekday Masses on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:05pm
ALL Masses will be at St. Mary’s Church.
This is a temporary decision, made because it is the larger of the two churches and with health and safety in mind. Limited capacity due to Social Distancing Guidelines. Visit our website for updates and more information.
This is a time of great challenge in our nation. We are confronted with two crisis that sadden us as the faithful Catholics. We pray for the victims of the corona virus, the over 100,000 who have died, as well as the families and friends who mourn their passing. We pray for the medical professionals
who care for those who are suffering. We pray for those who are seeking a vaccine. And we pray for government leadership that will help to protect and guide us during this challenging struggle. We also remember the victims of racial injustice throughout our nation. We remember in a special way George Floyd and his fami-ly. We pray that our government leaders will hear the cry for help and do all in their power to bring about change to the institutions which perpetuate those injustices. We pray for peace in our cities and ask the Lord to protect those who seek to secure the peace as well as those who raise their voic-es for justice. We are all created in the image and likeness of God. And each and every one of us should be treated as such. And we must do all in our power to see that we can create a society which recognizes and respects the dignity of all people. Mary Queen of Peace – Pray for us. Fr. Brian

CHANGE IN DISTRIBUTION
OF
WEEKLY ENVELOPES
We thank all of our envelope users who have faithfully mailed their enve-lope donations into the parish. It is
through your continued generosity, that we are able to meet our financial commitments. Currently, your envelopes are mailed to you on a monthly ba-sis. Beginning with the July envelopes, you will receive two months of envelopes in one mailing. For July, you will receive both July and August envelopes. The next mailing will be for September and October and will continue as such going for-ward. Each packet will include one Mail Back envelope. You may mail your envelope donations to the parish either one month at a time or you may mail both months’ donations in together. Making this change will bring a significant savings to our parish in the preparation of the envelopes as well as the shipping and postage costs. We appreciate your understanding as we im-plement this cost saving change. Thank you.
At each Mass, during the Prayer of the Faithful, we hear that prayers are requested at this Mass for a particular person. This is referred to as a “Mass Intention.” This means that this Mass is being offered for the repose of the soul of someone who has died, or for the special inten-tions of someone who is still living but re-
questing prayers for a particular intention. If you would like a Mass offered for someone that you have lost, particularly on the anniversary of their death or birthday, please call the par-ish office to schedule a Mass.
